LoTide Surf Camps Lombok

I don’t know how this hostel has any good reviews. Everything is filthy and looks like it has never been cleaned ever. The rooms are dirty and the bathrooms were the most disgusting ones I’ve ever seen in a hostel. The common area is also very dirty. Don’t listen to the good reviews and just avoid this place. We switched after two nights because we wanted to get the heck out of here.

I would not recommend staying here over the next few months as they have started construction to expand the hostel and it starts at 8am each day, I was meant to stay 3 nights after night 1 I was gone. The people staying there were really social but not hostel etiquette for people sleeping in dorms late at night. The staff don’t inform anyone about the construction meaning everyone was woken up by it really confused on what was going on. The water fountain is NOT cold, it was very warm

Der Pool war grasgrün, die Duschen stinken, richtig sauber war es auch nicht und allgemein sieht es deutlich mehr runtergekommen aus als auf den Bildern. Zudem hatten wir über Stunden keinen Strom. Absolut keine Empfehlung!

Had bedbucks in my bed and I've heard that couple days earlier in the other room there was the same problem. After a really long discussion I at least got my money back, but no offer for washing or anything. Also breakfast was a joke, some fruits and one pack of toast for the whole hostel. There are a lot of homestays in this area where you can have even a private room for the same price without any unwanted animals in your room.

L’hôtel est super bien placé, mais extrêmement déçues de l’expérience. Malgré le prix attractif la qualité n’est pas au rendez vous, pour le même prix nous avions trouvé une super auberge pas loin. Pour deux nuits, pas de serviettes fournies malgré plusieurs relances à l’accueil. Booked 5 nights, left after the first night. In pictures it looks fine, but in real life it's nasty. Everything were just broken and dirty. When I arrived, my bed had someones used contacts on in and other dirt. Also tap water was brown..

There was bed bugs here. I am currently paying for my clothes and bags to be sanitised and cleaned after I found one on my bed. The exterminator has confirmed they are bed bugs after I showed him a photo. The response from the staff was “oh” and offered zero support, compensation or help. I believe this is very common for this hostel. The bathrooms are very dirty and obviously not maintained. I would avoid at all costs

I booked it on hostel world and when I came here at 9pm there was no space for me. They didn’t call/email or send a text to me, i needed to go somewhere else. All I got was a 5 minute ride on a scooter and nothing else…. After 1 night I came back because my friends where staying here. This hostel is not clean and is very smelly! The cupboard in your bed can't be closed so you keep bumping your head while sleeping. Then we wanted to rent scooters and there were no helmets.

Our room was dirty with musty smells and even sharp needle-like objects on the floor; other guests reported bed bugs. Facilities are run down, shower broken, and pictures deceiving. Surf lessons were unsafe, overcrowded, with 5 students per instructor instead of 2, and my girlfriend nearly drowned with no help except for me. Breakfast was poor and the place feels like a money-making machine with no care for guests. I strongly advise against staying here.

I have to say i was disappointed ... I booked for 4 nights but reduced to 1 ... Private room was too expensive for what they offer (30€) ... dirty sheet, damaged equipment and facilities ... When i asked if it is possible to get clean sheets the staff said they do not have any extra. Also did not get any surfer vibes in this hostel Sorry Lotide but you have to invest in the facility ...

BBQ night was great, tasty and healthy food. Location also great, 5 minute scooter ride to Kuta Beach. In a room with 8 beds, had a big locker which was nice with shared bathroom and shower which was relatively tidy.

anggi, sany & opan are doing a good job running this place. breakfast was good & surflessons where also nice. you can also book single day group sessions for 500k which is nice if you dont want to buy a whole package.

Loved this hostel so much, I kept extending my stay. Ended up making friends with everyone from my surfing, so social. Lovely outdoor area, swimming pool, kitchen and space to chill ( and watch movies on the tv). The surf lessons were so fun, I only was meant to have one class as I’m never surfed before. But I became hooked for the 8am surf session and did 5. Staff were so lovely, always super helpful. Felt really comfortable here, didn’t want to leave. Thanks Anggi, Opan and Sany

Fun social but not party hostel. They have great surf sessions in Gerupuk. Enquire about the surf packages to save some money on surf and accommodation. Anggi, Open and Sant were really helpful with local recommendations.

Such lovely staff especially anggi and opan that were super helpful and friendly and a really beautiful hostel with a great pool and nature and great list of things to do, would recommend :)

I had an amazing experience at this surf camp! The instructors were super friendly and patient, especially for beginners like me. The location was beautiful, right by the beach, and the atmosphere felt very relaxed. I improved my surfing skills a lot in just a few days. Highly recommended! Expecially the staff are soo helpfull anggi,opan&sany

I thought it was a great stay. Very chill hostel if you’re looking to relax. Definitely not a party hostel.

Very nice and chilled out hostel, with a good pool and friendly staff. Dorms are clean and you can get a good night sleep. Eci on the reception desk was specifically helpful, and was a friendly face throughout the trip. Would reccomend and shoutout to Eci.

Perfect for anyone who wants to lern surf they had good service and also anggi its soo helpfull
