Fuji Hotel

+ Location

- Inconsistent in the way how the staff treated us, some could not be bothered to greet or smile, few were nice and professional. Definitely need to be bit strict on the room inspection before guest arrives, for example in a family room with 2 adults, just one bathrobe and even that looked like it had seen better days.

+ Room - upgraded - was huge, very nice. Staff and management doing their best. But the first night, barking dogs woke me out of a deep sleep. It seems the guards are instructed to chase them away, but not so easy I guess. I moved to a nearby hotel that I previously stayed at many times, that had less of a dog problem.

+ nice, clean and big rooms. nice spa staff.

- this hotel unfortunately tries to be something that it is not. at first it seems fancy but the very poor breakfast and spa centre (shady, noisy, dirty, cold - the massage and the staff however were nice!) shows that this hotel is totally not worth the money. i would not recommend more than just sleeping there. skip the spa and the breakfast/restaurant.

+ The room was large and clean, and had a good view.

- The bathroom had problems: the sink faucet was wobbly, the shower drain partially clogged (which caused the water to overrun), etc. The breakfast was so-so, and the cook didn't follow directions (we asked that the omelet not be spicy, but it came back spicy).

+ The staff were exceptional generally. Always offering to help and opening doors.

- I wasn’t offered coffee at breakfast and none of the items were out when I attended breakfast.

- Le SPA est vétuste, vraiment pas au niveau de l’hôtel.

+ タメル地区の中にあり、観光の拠点としてたいへん便利な場所です。スタッフの皆さんには良い印象しか残っていません。快適な滞在でした。

- 洗面台の排水が悪かったこと

+ Everyone at the hotel were helpful and friendly Best location, in the center of Thamel, 10-15 min walk to Durbar square. Delicious breakfast. Good wifi

+ Excellent hotel. The staff members were extremely helpful and cordial, our room was spacious, and everything was well maintained. I would not consider staying in a different hotel in Kathmandu.

- It would have been hugely helpful to have a travel desk in the Reception / Foyer area. But for the price and the quality of everything else, this is a minor comment.
