The staff was rude. Arrived late and the short brazilian dude was no help and was short in answers too. I went to the hotel around the corner. Theres a creepy tattoo artist that lingers around and tries to prey on drunk girls staying at the hostel. He shouldnt be allowed on the premise since he doesnt live or work there. The girls i spoke to were scared of him because he was persistent and creepy. The pod beds are cool and locking them with a code is convenient. Cool that they have a bar
Staff is very arrogant, no proper guidance even he don’t told me about location of room he just said your room number is 001, Not proper guidance even. In the shower room there was no shampoo, body wash, and hair brush. Stay away from sunflower.

Uno de los recepcionistas o el manager, fue extremadamente grosero, tanto en el check in como en la salida. Una chica que se llama María fue toooooodo lo contrario. Súper amable y servicial. El hombre con tatuajes dañó toda nuestra experiencia. No debería trabajar aquí, sino tiene el gusto.
One of the receptionists or the manager, was extremely rude, both at check in and check out. a girl named María was toooooodoo the opposite. super friendly and helpful. the guy with the tattoos ruined our whole experience. she shouldn't work here, but she has taste.
Was not clean, not enough bathrooms (only one for one dorm in the whole floor), was locked out of the room due to the key not giving me access anymore and couldn't go anywhere, too much light pollution, they take a fee (or deposit) for EVERYTHING, people coming and going all night, and due to the guests needing to make their own beds and undo it and bring the linenes back down to get the deposit back, this causes a lot of disturbance. Uncomfortable room with stuffy air. Can’t recommend.
STAY AWAY! The beds creak all night LOUDLY. They are ancient and haven’t been replaced ever. Forget snoring, the slightest shift of anyone creates a horror movie sized shriek. YOU WILL WAKE UP THE NEXT DAY TIRED EVERYDAY. You will not get sleep. You will not get rest. Even my noise cancelling headphones didn’t work because the squeaking is so high pitched. Do not stay here.
Hostel is okay in most ways rooms are decent though seems like they never get cleaned properly, and some of the beds are a bit unstable and squeaky. My main problem with this hostel is I booked a room for two nights but was told I had to change rooms and I was not offered an early check in or free luggage storage even when I asked. This means from 11 until four I had no room or even anywhere to put my bags. Staff were nice but they couldn't help me as apparently this is just the hostels policy.
This hostel is close to many clubs so that’s good, but the shower is just a shower head and a drain on the floor. You have to literally use a squeegee mop. Check in isn’t until 4pm which is very late in my opinion. The staff is fine and the other guests were nice as well but it’s more of a party hostel. I would not recommend this place. I felt it was overpriced for what you get basically $85 for 2 week nights.
Kein Schlaf möglich bei 3 quietschenden Eisen Stickbetten, die bei jeder kleinsten Bewegung gequietscht und geknarzt haben. Zimmer und Bad waren dreckig, die Bettwäsche fleckig, die Matratzen durchgelegen. Die Bettwäsche wurde beim Einchecken vom Personal in eine Getränkepfütze auf dem Tresen gelegt. Die Angestellten wirkten bekifft und waren extrem langsam und teilweise unfreundlich.
No sleep possible with 3 quieting iron stickbeds, which quietened and scratched at every slight movement. room and bathroom were dirty, the bed linen was stained, the mattresses were filled in. the bed linen was placed on the counter in a drink basin by the staff during check-in. the employees seemed to be very nice and were extremely slow and sometimes unfriendly.
Wasn’t very clean and the facilities were very poor there was two halves of a chopping board in the kitchen and one pan for everyone. The bathrooms very awful and when we arrived into the rooms there was chewing gum stuck onto the beds and the floor.

Gemütliches Hostel in bester zentraler Lage mit sympathischen Personal. Unser Zimmer war gemütlich und sauber. Gerne kommen wir bald einmal wieder. :)

It is very easy to meet cool and interesting people in this hostel. The bar is good. The location is very very good if you are interesting in the Berlin club culture. The hostel looks cool and has good beds, showers, and laundry machines.
Capsules are very spacious and convenient for solo travelling. Quite limited bathrooms with a lot of people sharing, meant sometimes they didn’t feel super clean, BUT they were cleaned each day and to a very high standard, which was great!
Staff are unfriendly, when we checked in the guy on the desk just shoved a bit of paper at us to sign without even looking up. There are nowhere near enough bathrooms for the amount of people and you often had three or four people waiting for one bathroom. The WiFi doesn’t work anywhere in the building and one of our duvet covers had stains on. Save your money, find somewhere else.

I feel like the staff sometimes was annoyed and impatient towards me, like they didn't quite enjoy their job. The wifi was very bad except in the lobby/lounge. The kitchen was very well equipped with a refrigerator, dishes and a cooker that you can use. In the evenings I sometimes had to wait for a bathroom to be available but never too long. As for the bedroom, there were lockers stacked upon each other and unfortunately we had the top one which was quite hard to reach (I'm 165 or 5'5)
Wir hatten zu dritt ein Zimmer mit eigenem Bad, da war alles top. Gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Sehr gute Lage, v.a. Wenn man Veranstaltungen in der Uber Arena besucht, aber auch nah an S-Bahn und Tram. Die Gemeinschaftsbereiche waren nicht so einladend, zumindest nicht für unseren Geschmack. Aber sonst hat alles gepasst.
We had a room with private bathroom, everything was top notch. good value for money. very good location, especially if you visit events in the Uber Arena, but also close to S-Bahn and Tram. the common areas were not so inviting, at least not to our taste. but otherwise everything fit.

Overall nice hostel. Location is good especially if you're going to a concert, but has also good transport connections. The beds didn't have curtains but in all-female dorm it was manageable. The rooms were kept clean.
Such a cute and clean hostel! They clean the common areas every morning, and the employees were very helpful and attentive.

Horrible beds and storage compartments. Sounded like a war zone every night with everyone in the dorm coming back at different times and opening and closing their storage. It rolls under the bed and mine was broken so it was very difficult to get out. Never heard beds creak like that before. Staff were also super annoyed all the time. Definitely wouldn’t recommend.
Für eine Übernachtung am Wochenende vollkommen okay, weil es in der Nähe der Konzertlocation war. Die Personen in meinem Zimmer waren echt nett, aber unten in den Gemeinschaftsräumen ist nicht wirklich die typische Hostelstimmung aufgekommen. Ohne Ohrstöpsel hätte ich außerdem die ganze Nacht die Musik von der Bar gehört, da mein Zimmer direkt darüber lag, darauf sollte man achten. Das Personal war nett und die Gemeinschaftsduschen und WCs sehr sauber. Würde es noch Mal für einen Trip...
For a weekend stay it was perfectly fine because it was close to the concert location. the people in my room were really nice, but down in the common rooms the typical hostel atmosphere didn't really arise. without the earplugs I would also have listened all night to the music from the bar, as my room was directly above it, you should pay attention to that. the staff was nice and the communal showers and toilets very clean. would book again for Mal für eine Trip:)
Had an awesome time at this hostel. Bar in the front makes it easy to mingle with everyone as they come in and out from clubbing. Made some great friends here. Ended up only clubbing once and spending other nights in lobby/bar with friends. Staff was great and a few really stuck out with their friendliness. Location is in the heart of clubbing district so know this ahead of time. I got capsule bed which was nice. Bathrooms are nice.
The hostel itself is p good; we booked 4 people dorm with bathroom ensuite; it was quite big and clean. Same for the kitchen; very big and had “free” food from what previous residents had left. The location is the best part, it is only 5 mins away from Berghain and 10 mins from East side gallery. Overall a good place to stay.
