Worst Customer Service. Someone peed on my bag and the hostel didn‘t care.

Would not recommend, very dirty hostel… I actually found and EarPod on my bed, and after asking the whole room it belonged to no one, which means my bed was not properly cleaned after the previous visitor 🤢. Very expensive for what you’re getting. If you’re young and looking to find other young people, this is a nice place though! If you’re slightly older (above 25) I would suggest sleeping somewhere else

Only good thing is the location. Staff are rude, rooms are dirty, cold, and falling apart. Key card and light didn’t work. Nobody cares. Shower barely warm, synthetic bedding makes you sweat, and sleep is impossible because of constant noise. Not social at all ! No fun social activities in the hostel except drinking/ pub crawl. Would never stay here again. All the people I met there after 1-2 nights also moved to more comfortable places, but come to party to MM. you should do like this...

The room itself was so humid it had its own ecosystem, and the smell of the room was really not great either.

Horrible stay, room was only semi clean and well located but okay it’s a party hostel. What really drove it home is that someone came in at 4 in the night made a huge hassle (playing loud music for an hour!!) and the staff did exactly zero. „Sorry we can’t help you, the supervisor is not there today“. Idk man I’m all for a good vibe but you could at least enforce the night silence

1. They advertised dorm style washrooms with stalls for showers etc. In reality, there was just one bathroom on the entire floor which had a shower and toilet. There was a dorm style bathroom in an entirely separate building that you have to walk to, so I guess they're "technically correct". 2. Even the bathroom that was there on the floor had a single door, so if someone's taking a shower, feel free to wait for 30 minutes before using the loo. Also didn't have a shower glass, so I hope you like...

clean but unsocial alcoholics "party" hostel. everyday encouraged drinking, no alternative meeting points than bar area where there are drinking games at 100db music from 6.30pm to 23pm. focus of this hostel:make guests spend money on as many drinks as possible. Good for alcoholism and the owners pocket, bad for solo travellers who want to meet people from different countries

I had really bad experience staying as so bad smell in washroom also no AC it was too hot to sit in room they keep AC's off which I can't see in instructions. Than guy from bar he robbed me as I paid 200000 Vnd as I wasn't having 10000 he asked me to sit when I asked for change he said I only paid 10000 which was lie. We check security cameras as video quality wasn't good but we could clearly see that it was big bill also I was talking with him and it's clear in voice that I said I don't have.

Worst hostel I’ve ever been to

My stay here was just an amazing experience. I injured my knee and had limited mobility, but the receptionist Mickey was so accommodating. Helped me swap rooms, offered to carry my bags, ensured I got the bottom bunk, and the rooms with lift access. Absolutely lovely experience on the social side as well. Met so many amazing people here! The rooms were spacious and clean, beds were comfy and had no problems at all. I was back here 3 times during my travels

We had a great time, Val, Naya and James were so helpful and helped us have a fab night out.

Jerry and Hai were the best at making me feel at ease, especially when I arrived super late last night from my sleeper bus, good vibes all around Highly recommend!

Had a great time at Mad Monkey. Naya and Val were super sociable and made sure we were always drunk and having a good time. Would defo recommend

such an unreal hostel, super social and very clean location was great. staff honestly made it, especially james and harry :) 10/10!!

Was an amazing stay will be back Jerry was the best receptionist always smiling and very helpful the hostel was clean and very fun the reps also are amazing at getting everyone to socialise would 100% recommend

Loved it. i did the Ha Giang Loop with them as well. I signed up with Harry and he made everything easy and understandable. Everything was exactly as he described! As far as the loop with Mad Monkey i had a BLAST. Leader, driver, and the ppl that were there as well 10/10

Had a great stay with with mad monkey! Also did the ha giang loop with Alisa as the best tour guide. We had a great group, a lot of fun and good drinking!

The cleaners will steal your stuff! They stole my stuff while I was asleep on two occasions (the second time we were able to get our stuff back but only because we refused to leave without watching cctv- as soon as we mentioned it our stuff magically had been found by the cleaners) so make sure you lock up your stuff however everything else was great including the staff were really helpful.

Really nice hostel. Rooms are clean and comfortable, option for en-suite rooms but there’s extra bathrooms on each floor also. Lots of tours available and the vibes in the evening were unmatched- shoutout to the reps Lou, Char, James and Ruairi for always bringing a vibe and being so inviting!!! Will be back after the loop…

Had a lovely time at the drag show Ruairí, James and Harry were stupendous furniture. I’d 1000000% recommend the chicken Parma and would comeback again just for that.

This was a really comfortableand clean hostel. There's definitely opportunities to be social if you enjoy drinking, not so much for daytime activities.

I checked into this hostel and the second i walked in, the room smelled like sh*t. Apparently there is an issue with the air vents that blows that disgusting air onto the floor i was on. Hostel itself is very run down, curtains have a large gap meaning not much privacy, and if you want to get a relaxing night at all here that is not going to happen - it is loud all hours of the night. Also, towels smell horrible. I traded mine for a new one because of this and it still smelled bad.

Mad monkey was amazing! The room was really clean and the social area was amazing. I miss charlotte from the staff already, she was the best! The pub crawl every night was also really funnn

Excellent as a party hostel, clean bedding and spacious shower in the room. Not very social during the day however and limited amount of third spaces to relax
