Bposhtels Waikiki Retreat

the hostel looked differend than in the pictures. the pool was dirty so i didn’t want to swim in it. my room was all the way to the back. it looked very scetchy to walk up to my room. beneath my room was a gate (i thought it was closed) but when i left i saw that it was open and made me feel uncomfortable knowing there was a homeless person next to the gate. i think that in general the hostel looks very different than the pictures.

I’d like to report several concerns about staff behavior and guest experience. Some staff walk around the pool while guests are using it, creating unnecessary foot traffic and disrupting relaxation. Staff also approach guests in ways that don’t respect their privacy, and housekeeping talks excessively, making guests feel pressured to tip. The closets and pantry have a noticeable odor. Staff were also seen smoking under room 301, which is unprofessional and affects guest comfort...

Pretty good stay here. Stayed in a female room, vibes were pretty chill which was fine, not for everyone. Bare cooking supplies, 2 coffee mugs, 2 spoons/forks lol. Nothing to label food lol. Kinda an awkward space for packing bags/ getting into your locker if people were using it. Beds were comfy! people talk about “unwelcome visitors” but Waikiki is filled with all walks of life so just be aware of this, didn’t encounter anything out of the norm here. Pool was refreshing.

Great stay. They supply towel and lock for the locker. The room I was in had a patio as well as a closet for extra storage. It is within a hotel itself with gate and door codes. Cleanings daily, matcha shop, close to main strip of shops and restaurants as well as the beach, pool is a nice add for a hostel. First time staying here and I extended my stay

Best Central Location and only with pool. Bunks are also better than all other shared rooms around. To relax and socialize with selected travelers. Kitchen was nice too!

Best in Hawaii, new hostel with superior bunks, best location ever, only with pool! To relax and socialize with higher end travelers. Kids in the room was very nice too!
