The staff was friendly and helpful. The location is great, close to the metro to go to the highlights of Beijing. Unfortunately my reservation did not come through correctly. Therefore my private room was not available and I had to share a room. The mattress was very thin, and not quite long enough. There were people smoking in the common areas (bathroom and hallway), even though it was a smoking-free hostel. It was noisy throughout the night. I was a bit disappointed.
Pretty good. However a room with no windows and no AC was not ideal. All other aspects were nice or very nice.
Overall a pleasant stay. Had a private room. The bed was hard, but not the worst. The window in our room was taped so you could not open it. That was annoying, especially after a shower. We never got any toiletpaper, so we asked for it every day at the reception. Great location. Close to the metro and has a supermarket underneath. The worst thing was that there was a lot of Chinese staying at this hostel, no foreigners. They smoked inside the rooms. Staff let us check in at 9am. Would stay again
