La Crème de la Crème

We had a dorm and then a private room and both had an awful smell. We could feel the springs of the mattress and the bed frame was cracking so much it would wake up everyone in the room whenever one was moving. Dorm shower was clogged and water was like 2cm high in the whole bathroom. We moved to the private room in the hope of having a better experience, but the smell was horrible and the sheets had hair and stains on them. The bathroom was terribly filthy and had mold and dirt everywhere.

Wenig Bäder aber auch das war erstaunlicherweise einigermaßen ausreichend. Die Besitzer sind freundlich. Insgesamt viele mexikanische Gäste.

The ‘private en-suite’ room is not a bathroom in the room (as we expected). The bathroom was outside of the room, and didn’t have a sign to say it was for our room, so while the owners said it was a private bathroom for us, really anyone could (and did) use it. There was also no lock. The location is not very good. We knew the hostel was not in the centre, but we were expecting it to be easier to get into the centre, and for there to be a bit more than just a supermarket surrounding it

Not as advertised. Their page says that breakfast is included, but the owner initially said it wasn’t, he only reluctantly acquiesced when we showed him the hostel world page. They also claim to have laundry facilities but they don’t, they claim their machine is faulty. The wine bar that they have contains only a couple of bottles and is only open four days a week. The cleanliness is much to be desired, I know it’s a hostel so I’m not expecting luxury, but the shared bathrooms were only ...

The hostel isn't very lively and quite far from anything interesting. However, it's a very peaceful location and the bathrooms are clean.

Cette hostel est pour les jeunes fêtatds. Il y a un bar public dans l'établissement. Il y a du bruit jusqu à tard la nuit dans les dortoirs. Pour jeune fêtards. Pour relaxer, pour se sentir bien, allez à un autre hostel. Je ne le recommande pas du tout pour personnes sérieuses. Fidel et Fidel, 2 hôtes très polis.

The hostel wasn’t very full when I went but it was super cute, super clean and super comfortable! The bus to get you into town leaves from right out the front and there’s a great view from the terrace. The breakfast was good and the staff were lovely! I really enjoyed my stay here and I would absolutely stay again :)

El servicio es excelente te reciben con mucha hospitalidead, la fam. Trabaja en conjunto sus instalaciones 100% recomendables, y la mascota es muy amigable con los niños. Lo recomiendo yo me hospede en fam. Y estuvimos muy cómodos. Gracias por el buen servicio 👍 💯

¡La experiencia en el hostal fue increíble!! El personal es muy acogedor y atento a cualquier detalle que asegure una óptima estancia. Definitivamente, el hostal de Fidel y su familia es mi punto de referencia cada vez que quiera pasar un buen rato en Puebla.

Wonderful family run hostel close to the los fuertes parque. The bus to the historic center drops you off and picks you up from the front door, and the staff could not be better! They are enthusiastic about recommendations in Puebla and wherever else your travels in Mexico may take you. Thank you for the lovely stay and I will definitely stay again next time I am in Puebla!

Hostel très calme situé hors du centre ville de Puebla (seulement 15mn en bus qui s'arrête devant l'hostel), les hôtes ont été supers, incroyablement gentils et nous ont donné plein de conseils. Lits confortables, eau filtrée et café à disposition. Je recommande !

Nos encantó nuestra estadía en el hostel , Fidel y Beatriz son excelentes anfitriones, nos hicieron sentir como en casa no nos alcanzan las palabras para agradecer su amabilidad. En cuanto al lugar se encuentra en una zona muy tranquila y segura con cercanía a la zona de los fuertes y fácil acceso al centro. Todo los espacios se encontraban muy limpios y en excelentes condiciones. Volveríamos una y mil veces más ! Gracias

A lovely and homely hostel in a really nice area with everything you need within a block's distance. Comfy beds, a nice outside area and a kitchen with decent pans you can actually cook with. Fidel is a really great host who will tell you everything you need to know for getting around and is always happy to do anything to make you feel more comfortable and at home! I thoroughly recommend staying here over the hostels in Puebla!

Fidel le gérant est une de ces personnes incroyables qui fait du bien! j'ai grace a lui vécu une super expérience à Puebla. hôtel calme, super pour se reposer. très pratique pour cuisiner avec le super juste devant l'hôtel !

fantastic hostel its more like a hotel. very clean,fantastic location with wonderful views of the city and the volcano. The family who run the hostel are extremely warm and welcoming. ive stayed in many hostels in puebla and this is the only one i will ever stay at!

Creme da la Creme is owned and run by a very friendly family, that immediately made us feel at home. We arrived on New Years day and was invited to a party at night, where they had made nice food and had Music and karaoke! Our room had two windows and was spacious and nice. The place has a great view of Puebla, and the neighbourhood is nice. A bus right outside the door takes you to Centro.

great hostel, lovely staff and volunteers, good kitchen and showers. close to the park and a short collectivo away from the centre, was the only traveller staying there. the bikes are free to use which is great and an amazing view of the volcano from the roof :)
