Hostel Hakuna Matata

+ It was okay at first when the hostel owner was sober.

- The hostel partial owner/receptionist got drunk, harassed multiple people, opened the window to my room from the outside to ask if I had fucked the girl I was with yet, assaulted me when I asked him to calm down and that me and the girl needed to go to sleep. I tried to be friendly and calm him down, offering to shake his hand, insisting there was no issue, he still assaulted me. I opened up both a police report and reported to booking. This hostel from my knowledge has already been removed from Hostel world. Women staying at the hostel told me they were uncomfortable with his behavior toward them and he repeatedly pressured a man to eat a seafood pasta dish he made even though he had a serious allergy to seafood until he "ate around the seafood" You may have a fine stay if the owner is sober. But he has a serious drinking issue and gets belligerent and crosses many boundaries as soon as alcohol is involved, you are rolling the dice by staying here on if he decides to drink or not. Avoid at all cost please for your own safety.

- Don’t stay here! The place is dirty, the kitchen is very dirty, and the shower room is shared by men and women!! The bathroom door has no lock. The stalls are only closed with a curtain. When I went to shower in the evening, there were many men drinking in the kitchen. I felt very scared. I stayed only one night and left, spent extra money, and found an apartment instead.

- Pourquoi personne ne parle du fait quil faut traverser la cuisine pour aller a la douche partager homme femme et des rideaubqui ferment a peine . Les fourmis dans toue la maison . Punaise de lits ou autres jai etait piqué de partout .Cest plus un refuge pour homme qu’une auberge de jeunesse . Je n’ai pas aimé tous les commentaires disant que cest super et que Booking partage sans verifier . Les hommes qui parlent super fort avec leur bière donne limpression de dormir dans un vieux bar mal fréquenté.

+ The staff were really lovely and tried their best. This is the only reason it isn't getting 1 star

- Where to start, no locks on the main door or bedroom doors. The only safety you have is the locker in the bedroom. There are separate male and female toilets but not separate showers, and they only have shower curtains so you have no privacy at all. The shower room joins onto the kitchen which feels very invasive. The shower holders were all broken so you had to hold the shower heads and the water pressure is non-existant. The locks on the bathroom/toilet doors are broken and have makeshift ones replacing them. Just about everything in the kitchen was broken so there's not adequate cooking options if you want to cook. The bedroom windows don't close properly and neither do the shutters so the room was filled with ants and loads of tiny moths. It's not particularly clean or well presented. Despite check out being at 11, they regularly came into the room from 9am to see if people were out to start cleaning and disturbing people's sleep if they weren't early risers.

- Habitaciones antiguas, olían raro.. el comedor está en medio de la casa y las habitaciones alrededor. Se oye todo y la gente no se corta, podían estar hasta las 12/1am haciendo ruido.

+ zona central. Se procuras ficar num sitio so para dormir, desenrasca. Os chuveiros sao bons.

- achei o preco MUITO caro para 1 noite. A zona e muito barulhenta. Tentava dormir e havia muitas pessoas dentro do hostel a fazer barulho. De manha era barulho no exterior do hostel.

+ The location, 20min walk from the old town

- Very dirty. The property is a hostel with common areas and rooms. Our room smelled of tobacco, was dirty and the bed sheets had other people’s hair on them...The common areas were dirty as well. An unpleasant experience.

- La ubicación: lejos y cuesta arriba. Al lado de una carretera con mucho tráfico; las ventanas sin insonorizar: imposible dormir. Las duchas unixex , con una triste cortina como intimidad. Indecente. No recomendable.

+ Instalaciones limpias y ordenadas, personal muy amable que me ayudó facilitandome información. Recomendable!!

+ 位置非常好 门口就有公交车1A或1B可以去大巴站（谷歌地图上没有）上次可以刷信用卡 走3分钟可以到海岸线， 走4分钟超市 走15分钟到老城 走25分钟到大巴站 干净整齐，沿街，出入方便，晚上睡觉我也不觉得吵 有厨房可以做饭

+ Extrem freundlicher Hostelbesitzer, sehr sehr hilfsbereit! Die Ausstattung variiert von schick und neu (Duschen) zu alt und renovierungsbedürftig (Matratzen im 6-Bett-Zimmer). Direkt an einer großen und viel befahrenen Straße gelegen.

+ Era cómodo y tenía ropa de aseo , su taquilla individual, agua, atención todo momento por parte del dueño tanto para el Hostel como para la ciudad ( gracias por el café el último día que nos preparó). Cocina y baños limpios. Buen ambiente. Había pocas personas en ese momento por lo que fue mucho mejor la estancia. Está en punto medio entre la estación del bus y la ciudad vieja. El bus al aeropuerto a unos pocos minutos. Volvería sin dudas.

+ Toni and Petra make you feel at home, they will teach you Croatian and help you with everything they can. Very clean also, good kitchen with plenty of space to cook

+ Čisto, uredno, izvrsna lokacija, ljubazno osoblje.

+ хорошее место. очень чисто. заселение вообще по вацапу - за одну секунду, очень удобно. все понравилось, рекомендую

+ The combination of value, location, and *free parking* makes this stay unbeatable if you have a car. That alone far outweighs any negatives. Beyond that, the host was kind and helpful, the common area was very pleasant, free earplugs were provided, great sized lockers.

- The shower room was mixed-gender with only curtains; they were not at all transparent, but I still could imagine this could feel uncomfortable/unsafe for women in particular. There was nowhere to change into clothes except the shower stalls. Some stuff was broken such as the oven, urinals, and sometimes the lights didn’t turn on. But we still had a stove, toilet, etc so it didn’t really matter. You have to make your own bed which I don’t mind, but some people might.

+ The host was really kind and helpful :) all the place was very clean and the check in process was easy with them. Well located and definitely, if go back to Dubrovnik, I'll reserve there again! Totally recommended.

+ スタッフの方のホスピタリティが凄かったです！ 色々と自家製のものを試させていただいて美味しかったです！ バス停は目の前にありますし、旧市街へも15分ほど歩きますが全く問題ない範囲で観光できます。 近くに大きなスーパーもありますしキッチンもあるので物価の高いドゥブロブニクでも自炊で色々楽しめました！

+ Hakuna Matata Hostel completely met expectations. Can't beat the location of it. It has everything you need for a short stay, and if by chance it's not there, the extraordinary hospitality of the hosts makes up for it.
