The hostel was nice and in a great location, however be careful with doing the tours from the hostel. We did a tour and the driver took us to a scam restaurant, with no menu which charged several times what any restaurant in Samarkand would. The hostel owner claimed the price is correct but we checked the restaurant's reviews and everyone else is saying it's a trap. The owner was not apologetic and blamed us and everything else, but he chose the driver, and we got scammed.

Bed had a big mark on it and was next to an open window that couldn't be shut and didn't have a curtain which made sleep much more difficult.

Pros: super great location, super nice staff and helpful l, really beautiful hostel, the breakfast is really good. Cons: I stayed in the 8 mixed bedroom, the door of the room doesn't close and it's just loud ( I am a light sleeper), and the beds are too hard.

Great location. Lovely staff. Dorms have lights, shelves, outlets, hangers, curtains for every bed. However top bunk is harder than usual to get up to. Staff was kind enough to let me move beds after a few people checked out.

Great location, very helpful staff, reasonably social despite its small size. Would very much recommend staying here. Only downside was that the toilet broke while I was there so the en-suite was out of bounds for a day…

The hostel has so many good things going for it, location, friendly staff, cleanliness, good breakfast included in the price. However two things let it down firstly the dorm room beds are awful, not uncomfortable and they all have privacy curtains, charging point etc but the fact that they are so flimsy and close together that if one person moves everyone moves. Secondly there is only one toilet. As the shower/ toilet is one room once someone is in the shower no-one else has access to a toilet.

Great location! Right at the historic center and within walking distance to most attractions in Samarkand! Really helpful staff. It’s not a huge hostel so it’s very easy to meet people. Beds were comfy, wifi was fast and reliable! The free breakfast was a feast! Could use more toilets/ bathrooms though, too many people sharing one bathroom in the dorm when the hostel is full. :/

Close to Registan, stuff is very friendly, the middle area is a little bit small but okay, recommended.

Very nice hostel/homestay. Nice breakfast included. The dorm was comfy with curtains on the beds. Thanks also to the staff that I could drop my bag off at 5am.

A wonderful, laid back hostel close to the main attractions of Samarkand. Communication prior to our stay was good, our room was very clean and had everything that we needed for our stay. A varied breakfast was a good way to start the day. Very reasonably priced.

One of the best hostels I’ve stayed in. Really cheap, helpful staff and comfortable beds. The location is fantastic as you’re right in the middle of all the biggest spots. A nice courtyard for the common area which brings people together. Highly recommend it here if you’re visiting Samarkand!

An excellent family-run hostel! Super clean, centrally located, good facilities, lovely courtyard and phenomenal breakfast. Shout out to Yussuf at reception for being incredibly friendly and helpful!

The location was great as it was super close to all the attractions - it took me maximum 10 minutes to walk to them. It had a really cool decor, perfect for those who like vintage stuff. The hostel was clean and the breakfast was tasty and generous. Also, Sherzod was always ready to help with anything you needed. I highly recommend this hostel to anyone visiting Samarkand.

Great time at this hostel. The hosts were very kind and helpful with anything I needed. There is a single outdoors common area which we used to congregate but it was a little chilly at night and I imagine it gets hot in the summer. The dorm has high ceilings but can get hot at night.

In terms of atmosphere this is the best hostel we have stayed in since we started our travels 3 months ago. We got to meet lots of friendly fellow travellers here in Samarkand. The location is excellent, you can easily walk to food and attractions. The beds were changed once during our week-long stay which is great. Only a couple of small inconveniences. The shower pressure could be better. Also the bathroom can get smelly when the bin hasn't been emptied for a few hours.

Everything was great about this place. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the location is close to the main city landmarks. I definitely recommend staying here.

Loved this place! Such sweet and helpfull staff. The only issue for me was that the bed was hard but they helped me make it softer, and also it was a bit hard to climb to the top bunk. But the location is unbeatable, the atmosphere is great, the people working their are the best and goes above and beyond in so many ways! Brilliant hospitality! Also I highly recommend the tours they offer! This was my favorite hostel in all of Central Asia 🌸

Great hostel, they help out greatly with recommendations etc. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Not an incredibly social hostel but still met some cool people.

Best location. Best breakfast. Rooms and toilets are clean and spacious. The quaint and cosy courtyard is a great place to hang and meet fellow travelers. They’re the best in the country for good reasons.
