   Very disappointing experience. The hostel was unhygienic, with hair everywhere, mould on the walls and dusty cobwebs around my bed. I booked a female dorm, but neither the lockers nor the door could be locked, and a man was even inside the room one night. I was also asked twice to pay for my stay despite already paying in cash. On top of that, there was no drinking water available. I would not recommend staying here.

   Hostel was ok. 50k & 25k dorms. 25k are nicer tbh. Both no hot water. Loud in the evening but louder in the morning because even staff waking up start to be loud @7:30. Rating is because I got scammed booking here my trip from here to Amed. When I got to Padangbai I got told that there was nothing booked further than that. I had to reorganize for myself paying double for what should have included all transport but only had half. They didn’t help & lied to me on the phone about fixing it

   Good beds, but the bathrooms don’t feel very clean. Mostly Germans stayed there when I was there, and they mostly stuck together and spoke German. Definitely party vibes but not very social. Good location and the staff is nice, except that the male staff would randomly walk into the all-female dorm without knocking.

   I tried to be fair with my rewviww good location but everything else awful random me coming into our room to go to the toilet we had no locks and we told the staff we felt unsafe they laughed in our faces

   I stayed a week at this hostel, drawn by the low price and chill vibe. While the atmosphere was nice, some staff behaved horribly—slapping guests on the butt without consent and making creepy jokes about women. Everyone was outraged. Cleaning staff also stole money from beds and denied it. Hygiene is poor but expected for the price—basic respect isn’t. Solo female travelers, avoid this place!

   • There were cockroaches in the bathroom and random people would enter the room to use our bathroom… which was so bloody weird so it didn’t feel safe to leave stuff on my bed or anything.

   IBH was a last minute decision overall it was a place to sleep. The beds were weird some beds had this weird plastic wrapping around them whilst others didn’t the plastic was so loud everytime I turned or moved it woke me up. There were cockroaches in the bathroom and random people would enter the room to use our bathroom… which was so bloody weird so it didn’t feel safe to leave stuff on my bed or anything. The location was okay. The hostel wasn’t very social just felt pretty cliquey.

   the hostel has a good location and a chill atmosphere. unfortunately my wallet got stolen out of my bed while i was sleeping (the same happened to another girl) so I'd recommended to keep an eye on your things

   A nice social atmosphere and lovely staff and events! The only reason its not 10/10 is our toilet barely worked, it stunk and there was no locks on the doors so because we was next to the social area we had a random guy come in to use our toilet

   Mouldy, Air con was broken, Cold showers, spikes from curtains on the bunks stabbed me in the leg, but a lot of activities you can sign up to and quite a social place, very close to restaurants and the staff were lovely.

    Awful. Do not stay here. Pay the extra couple £ to stay elsewhere. Mattresses / beds still has plastic cover so sleeping felt and sounded like opening presents on xmas day. I had £100 taken from me in my sleep FROM MY OWN BED. Discovered that by chance, my dorm was a blind spot for the cameras which is just so convenient for the staff and security. Security is awful. No keys for the rooms so anyone can come in and out. Management handled this situation awfully. I would never recommend here.
