Westwood Highland

This hostel did not exits. Please don't book this hostel. They will not pick up the call even you call them many times. I cannot get refund because the staff said they wait for us all day until night but the hostel did not exists on 26 February 2022. I don't understand how come they can have staff waiting for us because when we arrived, the hostel did not even exist. This is the email that I get from Hotel.com because I comment about this issue. I only booked this place because lonely planet recommended it, however I was extremely disappointed. Poor breakfast and our room smelled. We paid for a family room which was grossly overpriced.

Quite far away from local shops and eateries so that would be an inconvenience. The rooms are located near a flower farm and the pesticide smell is overwhelming. Very difficult for vehicles to access this place.

Not suitable for Muslim. No bidet spray, no sejadah, no qiblat information, doesnt have lock in toilet, no curtains to cover windows. Extra star for owner that is friendly and the view is soothing. thats all

Nice setting hidden in the midst of vege / flower farms. Independently ran by owner. Pro’s: Diff setting Con’s: Ensuite pricing Dorms - RM70, Private room - RM230, Private room (ensuite) - RM290.

Out of the main tanah rata town which is much crowded. Up on a hill. Lots of plantation activities going on all around. Good to walk around have a look. Gets noisy traffic down hill. Occasional truck traffic noise up hill. Smells of feterlizers outside. Severe lacks of good food options in the area. Great interior design inside. Beware of mad dogs along your way up. Not great breakfast provided.

Super Hostel inmitten einer Blumenfarm. Ganz toller Host: selbst weit gereist, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit! Das Hostel liegt etwas "ab vom Schuss" und glücklicherweise dadurch entfernt vom Touri-Trubel der sonstigen Cameron Highlands. Perfekt für Reisende, die keine Lust auf Massentourismus haben.

We check in late nearly 12pm & Mr.Facu is patiently waiting for us. The room is well designed w 2 double decker for 4p. 3 Toilet is outside convenient for us. Thr r spacious living room w bean sofa & well equiped kitchen. 2 lovely cats roaming around & rubbing ur legs. Its <1km up hill from main road, in side a large farm. Well cleaned hostel facilities.

One of the best stays I ever had. Rooms and the whole place was clean, tidy and smelled pleasant. However thats not what made my stay so wonderful. It was a heartwarming welcome & coffee. This guy Troji, really knows how to treat his guests. Its the only place I accomodate myself while in Cameron Highlands. Thank you! PS: it wasn’t my first nor the last time there

Das Hostel befindet sich in einer hübsch Blumenplantage, welche durch die Familie des Gastgebers, Troji, betrieben wird. Troji ist ein sehr sympathischer Gastgeber, der selber schon einige Länder bereist hat. Wir hatten viele gute Gespräche und an einem Abend gingen wir alle zusammen in ein nahegelegenes, chinesisches Restaurant. Das Essen war sehr lecker! Super schönes und liebevoll, bis ins letzte Detail eingerichtetes Guesthouse. Die Lage ist ruhig, man wohnt umgeben von Blumen, da die Familie eine Flower Farm in den Cameron Highlands besitzt. Es gibt eine Küche für Selbstversorger. Wer Angst davor hat, die Unterkunft liegt nicht zentral oder zu abgelegen, der liegt falsch. In den Cameron Highlands gelangt man per hitchhiking überall hin. Perfekt für eine Wanderung durch den mossy forest, Besichtigung der Boh Tee Plantage und vieles mehr. ...
