   PROS: great staff, good vibes, food was good that they sell on site. hammocks to lie in and plenty of benches to chill at with your friends. CONS: someone took the bed I was allocated, I was too tired for conflict. beds in the middle were massively dipped and just not comfortable at all. air con didn't work towards the back of the room, so I was lay against the bars to keep me cool. ensuite toilet & shower split with 10 others. bad bad sleep, glad I only stayed for 1 night 😬

   I stayed in Room 7 and it was awful. Belongings everywhere, some beds with curtains and some without, none of the sockets worked, and the bathroom stank with black mould in the shower. Beds are labelled by letters; I was assigned 7B, but while I was sleeping a man tore open my curtains yelling I’d taken his bed. Reception had mistakenly given me his spot though he was checking out. He was aggressive, staff didn’t intervene until I called myself. Terrible experience.

   I had the misfortune of staying at Backpackers in Paradise Hostel, and it was nothing short of a nightmare. The sheets were a breeding ground for hair, the bed was revoltingly unclean, with marks and dirt everywhere. The shared bathroom was inaccessible because the neighboring room forgot to unlock it, leaving us stranded at night. Despite multiple attempts to reach reception for help, they conveniently ignored our calls. To top it off, a guest had their belongings stolen from right under the nose of the incompetent staff. Save yourself the agony and fork out an extra $30 for a decent hostel experience elsewhere. Waiste of time and money!

   DO NOT STAY HERE. This was the most disgusting hostel I have ever stayed in. The kitchen was absolutely vile, flies were everywhere and there were pigeons and cockroaches in eating areas. The room did not feel safe, the door was never shut and random people walked in. The A/C and ceiling leaked on beds and outlets. Bathrooms were dirty and had cockroaches. The rooms were not hoovered. Only 2 toilets/showers between 20, and staff also used it via a staff only door to our room. Very uncomfortable.

   Unfortunately during my stay at the hostel a guy managed to have access to all the rooms and came into my room and steal things. It was such a shame because the receptionists were so lovely but unfortunately I didn’t feel safe at all.

    This place is an absolute joke, none of the “workers” ever knock on your door. And walked in on us multiple times while getting changed, I had to go and tell the staff at the front desk 3 times to stop just walking on into our room. The no alcohol allowed on the premises is also very silly, as they then had to ‘do an alcohol check’ twice a day, which they once again just waltzed on in to your room. Did not feel welcomed at all, the staff made you feel like it was a privilege to be there which it definitely

    The hostel itself was all good. The manager Christian really brought our stay down, he seemed to be drunk all the time and was acting sleazy toward girls a lot younger than him and killing the mood a lot, really got a creepy vibe from him which didn’t provide a nice stay for women travelling who just wanted to chill out. He was just always around just a warning:)

    By far the worst hostel I’ve ever stayed in! So in clean, some rude staff, not all. People stealing your food from your bag in the fridge. People even steals your medicine… Staff couldn’t do anything about it of course. Cockroaches in the outside areas. Wouldn’t even let my dog stay at this place.
