I didn't like it is alone the place is secluded from everything there were no guests in the whole weekend only I saw 2 people and me, nothing clean the hostel manager if I saw it 2 times in three days it was a lot I wouldn't go back there the lonely place
This is a max 6.5 score hostel. Others giving high scores have clearly never been to a nice hostel. Wanted to give it a 0 to bring down the average to a realistic score but the lowest on app only goes is. 2. Made the mistake of not reviewing the low reviews before booking… would not recommend hostel.

A woman ran away while I was away, searching her bags, stealing money and stuff, and the next day she was questioned by the police. The hostess had trouble finding the killer because she didn't have the right CCTV verification and when we checked, the killer was identified as an intruder, not a guest. Avoid this place!! How they have a 9.2 is beyond me, it must be a lot of paid or fake reviews. This is the dirtiest most sketchy hostel I’ve ever been to (I guess what you’d expect when you mix Tampa and a hostel). Sketchy staff, very dirty, dorms are terrible sink switched to a private which clearly had barley been cleaned. Sheets may have not been replaced. To make things worse, they tried to charge my CC a second time without asking me first. Really, DO NOT STAY HERE
This is not a hostel but a flop house. Issues! Staff, there were five staff living here with guests. The staff were the Main problem. They had no customer service experience. The did not have any hostel knowledge. The staff were scary looking and illegals. One staff would do laundry at 2 am! She would clean the shared kitchen at 5 am while guest are sleeping! To not help guests she pretended not to speak English. Other staff had dogs barking all day running into rooms. I'm allergic to these mutt
Stayed in the private “adventure room” $100 a night. There was black mold on the ceiling and walls. The door had a crack down the middle that we could see light through so not very secure. The room was TINY. It was basically like staying in a dirty Home Depot shed with 2 beds in it. Right next to the bar, very noisy. I recommend NOT STAYING at this hostel. It was the worst experience I've had. Despite interesting-looking photos, the hostel seems to have many intriguing things, but it's just outdated stuff from the last century. Read the reviews; many mention that the place is outdated. In my opinion, it was never properly renovated. The room is small, beds face each other, and there are no curtains. Handtücher teilweise schmutzig, sahen zumindest so aus. Glühbirnen defekt, fehlender Mülleimer, wurden erst nach Aufforderung ersetzt. Kein Spiegel im Bad. Kein Fenster zum öffnen. AirCondition ließ sich nicht ausschalten und lief die ganze Nacht oberhalb des Kopfes. War eine der teuersten Unterkünfte und die mit am schlechtesten ausgestattete.
Handtücher are partly dirty, at least they look like this. Bulbs are defective, Mülleimer is missing, were replaced only on request. No Spiegel im Bad. No Window to open. Air conditioning could not be turned off and ran all night overhead. It was one of the most expensive accommodations and the worst equipped.
The hostel was not what we had expected. It is messy and has a bad smell. The quality-price ratio is not okay, especially for the location and comfort. We stayed in a private bedroom that was rundown, and the bed was uncomfortable. I would not stay here again.
I booked an individual room for $100 a night. When I arrived, it turned to be a detached room built of some plywood, no heating, a toilet with a barn door right across the room for everyone to use, bar is also right there. Supposedly there was a shower and a restroom inside the house you can use until 10PM. I did not check. I left. Awful experience. Owner was nice, but what they are renting to people is below minimum sanitary requirements.

My partner and I stayed here for a night, and it was so cute and charming. Bruce was extremely helpful with check-in, and the room was super homey. The music theme throughout the hostel was inviting and creative. We’ll be telling my friends about Gram’s Bed & Hostel, and we can’t wait to go back!
Very nice place to stay in Your staffing needs to be considered with the people staying at your home we do know they work there and we expect from them to be welcome wen we get there we do know and hear it’s about being discreet at work and work related issues.

Lovely quaint little hostel in Tampa great location and staff were super friendly.
Had a great stay over Gasparilla! The owner gave me tons of recommendations and made the trip amazing. Clean, safe, comfortable. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend the night.
Bruce was super accommodating and friendly. There’s stuff to do that’s walking distance. Chill vibes. The cat is my fave part!

Friendly, comfortable, attentive, convenient, fun! I could take a whole day just to explore INSlDE the walls of Grams Place without ever having to venture outside for more exploring.
Gram's Place is such a fun, lively and enjoyable stay! The space is so eclectic and uplifting, with a strong aesthetic influence of music, beaches and pirates! A very appropriate decor for your Florida adventure. Everyone I met here was kind and welcoming as well as knowledgeable about navigating the area as a traveler. This feels much more like a family-esque place and not like a formal hostel which I appreciated. I hope to stay here again for a longer time soon!

Eccentric place with good vibes!
Had a great stay at Gram’s Place Hostel! The lady at reception was very kind and cooperative—despite my late check-in due to heavy rain, she welcomed me warmly and even allowed a slightly late check-out. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. Only suggestion would be to consider upgrading the mattress size for better comfort. Overall, a unique and pleasant place to stay—I’d definitely come back!
The staff and everything was good. The problem I had was with the rude guest.
Cool eclectic place to hangout. No place nearby within walking distance to do anything. Only a few minutes drive into the city though. Sleeping room smelled very musty which lingered on my clothes. Bathroom was lacking toilet paper or hand soap often. Staff was pleasant and helpful and ready when I arrived and departed.
