Unwind Restaurant and Hostel

The room had a broken mirror and only one charging point for a four-person dorm. During checkout in the morning, there was no staff available. There is no lift, so guests have to carry their luggage themselves.

Das Hostel ist eigentlich ein Restaurant mit Zimmern. Es herrscht kein Hostel-vibe, da es keinen Aufenthaltsraum gibt. Das Restaurant ist auch nur fürs Abendessen offen. Das heisst mehr als das Zimmer gibt es nicht während des Tages. Das Zimmer ist zwar schön, aber mit sehr kleinen Betten. Das Doppelbett ist nur 120cm breit. Der grosse Vorteil ist die Nähe zum Flughafen und das Restaurant selber ist auch mega toll. Aber ansonsten gibt es nichts rundherum.

Really nice hostel close the airport. Perfect for a night before/after a flight. The restaurant downstairs is a nice place to chill and have something to eat. The wifi isn’t the best, it cut out quite a few times and didn’t really work in our room. The only other negative is the double bed is very small, more like a big single bed.

Very good hostel if you need a place to stay after the airport. The staff is incredibly nice and helpful. The food they offer at the Restaurant is very nice too.

Best place to stay at when you arrive and before you leave Sri Lanka. Absolutely no point going to Colombo, this hostel is 3x cheaper and much better

We booked the 2 bed room with ensuite bathroom. Room was clean and had A7C. The hostel is located only 10 minutes from the Airport and has a stylish restaurant with a nice atmosphere and kind staff.

Perfect location if you want to be close to the airport for an early morning flight Staff were lovely and friendly Food and drinks were nice in the restaurant Room was very clean and nice Aircon worked! Staff weren’t present in the morning which made paying slightly difficult But overall lovely stay and would definitely recommend

This is the PERFECT place to stay for a day/night by the airport after arrival or before departure. I was departing on a midnight flight and had to check out of my permanent lodging. I was able to stay at Unwind for the hours in between resting and preparing for my upcoming flight. The room was clean and had a very cool mural painted on the wall. All of the art, everywhere you look is amazing. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The food & mojitos are delicious!
