Kayuma House Canggu

Room was dirty and smelly. my bed was dirty aswell. bathroom was discussing. toilet seat wasnt even recognizable as a toilet seat anymore. Airconditioning wasnt working and no locks on the rooms. There is also no 24 security so anyone could walk into the hostel and enter your room. i would not recommend staying here

Awful experience.. staff was rude the second I stepped in the lobby. Telling me I look tired. Why they make comments about my appearance I don’t understand. And the AC was horrible. Room was very hot and the AC was leaking tons of water. I could have easily filled a bucket… and the dripping affected my sleep. And when I asked for a solution. They were not helpful at all… staff at the hotel/hostel did nothing. And same with their boss. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

The area is super disty and unsafe to walk. Construction everywhere. At least it was clean and the staff very good. The price is certainly excessive

I wouldn’t go there again. The dorms are not clean. The bathroom was disgusting. The toilet seat was so dirty and old, I felt bad to use it. The shower was also not nice. The door to the balkony couldn’t close, so we had many mosquitos in the room at night. The beds where so unstable, when someone turned around in the top bed, it felt like the bed would break soon. Ich verstehe die guten Bewertungen leider nicht. Das Badezimmer und die Böden im Dorm war sehr schmutzig und es gab nicht mal Seife. Zimmer direkt zur befahrenen Hauptstraße, leider überhaupt kein soziales Hostel und generell kaum Atmosphäre. Personal war freundlich

The security is none existent, I had 2 random people come in to my room at 5am and rip open my curtains who weren’t staying at the hostel who then proceeded to stay the night in the room without paying. As a female solo traveller who was in the room alone this was very scary and there were no staff around to help. Not very recommendable. The bathroom was not clean at all and also we didn’t have toilet paper for 2 days. Most beds had no curtains and had dirty sheets and the doors would not close all the way. The pool is nice but that was about it. For one day okay but nor for socializing or a longer stay.

Would only recommend this place for its location and swimming pool but nothing else. There is nothing going on and people are only there to relax and sleep. Also had a creepy guy in the dorm so had to ask to switch bedrooms. The bunk beds inly have curtains in the bottom bed and the bathrooms are not very nice

FANTASTIC HOSTEL! Dorms were clean, comfy, with a clean bathroom and balcony to share. Two large communal pools each with a clean kitchen to use, cafe was brilliant with plenty of cheap breakfast bundles and staff were extremely polite from beginning to end. Locations great, really enjoyed our stay here :)

Nice staff. Not a social hostel. Good location for restaurant and the beach. Nice with kitchen and pool. Free Wi-Fi. And it is value for money

not really any communal areas unless you’re in the cafe downstairs or in the pool. no curtains on the top bunks. balcony was great for the evenings and everything is a walkable distance. staff are really nice and will help you out with anything you need.

Amazing. The rooms are not that crazy, but the overall facilities are great, the location is really good and the staff is extremely kind and helpful. I might be staying a bit longer at Bali, and already considering coming back here!

Fantastisches Team. Zu jeder Zeit sehr bemüht und freundlich. Unterkunft war sauber und für die Lage angenehm ruhig. Preis/Leistung für das Frühstück absolut ok. Würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Great stay, reasonably priced, so close to the beach and food, slightly further out to from some of the markets but would definitely go back and recommend. The staff were pleasant and attentive, breakfast was nice. Pretty calm place

Kayuma House truly feels like a second home during my stay in Canggu. The location is excellent,convenient and central making it easy to explore the area. The staff, particularly Intan and Mirah at reception, have been exceptional. They are highly responsive, just a message away, and always ready to assist with any concerns or requests. The housekeeping team is also commendable, attentive, friendly, and consistently ensuring the space remains clean and comfortable.

Great location in the middle of canggu, also welcoming staff, they have a kitchen near the pool which is so convenient, the room smelled very good, it’s only that the bathroom needs to be renovated, also 0 atmosphere, no activities or social interactions in the whole stay.

Pool is nice, everything else is as bare as it gets. Towel not provided, lights broken, couldn't get the WiFi to work, wasn't even a duvet sheet on the bed

The best hostel all in all! Perfect location central to everything - food, beach and shopping. We stayed in a 6 bed bunk room which was very clean and comfortable. Also has a little balcony onto the street. We spent a lot of time in the pool on hot days because it was shaded making it so refreshing. We were shocked at how nice this place was for how cheap it is, please come to this hostel! You will not regret it!

Fantastic value - we got a large, clean and comfortable room with AC, bathroom, closet and mini fridge. Staff is really kind and attentive. We enjoyed the pool. Location is perfect, close to the beach and everything you need. We rented scooters from the hostel. We extended our stay because we were so comfortable. The kitchen is basic but we used it to boil water for coffee. Mineral water is provided. We'd stay here again!

We were very pleasantly surprised with how amazing this hostel was. We had a private room on the first floor. Was very chilled and location is perfect.

Excellent stay, big room and bathroom, decent pool area and just a moments walk from the heart of Canggu. Would 100% recommend to stay here
