    We booked this thinking "can't be too terrible, yes you get what you pay for but it doesn't have a terrible rating". We were wrong. The washrooms were disgusting and often didn't have toilet paper. Our all female dorms door DIDNT CLOSE so random people could walk right into the room... which a man decided to do at 8 am to look out our window, so don't bother paying extra for a female dorm. The noise of the train and everything else going on was awful, nobody slept. Maybe it would be different in a dorm with

    I've a stayed here a few times, there's a good green garden space and plenty of seats in communal areas. This time I was put in a different dorm, the window looked on to a small dirty outside space where I saw a rat. The rooms electric sockets and personal lights didn't work, I reported it, hours went by, nothing changed. Really unhelpful in a shared space with everyone coming and going and having to use a big bright light, so harder to rest. Also then not able to charge things as I have USB charge leads and in the communal areas all sockets are old school 2 or 3 prongs. The problem still wasn't fixed the next day...luckily I was leaving. The overall lack of action or apology and an across the board 'no refund' policy prompted this rating.
