Parla Hostel

This is one of the worst hostels I have ever seen. It’s really not clean, the rooms are dirty, and they hide the bed bugs under a cloth on the mattresses. In addition, if you are looking for peace, it is impossible! The rooms are located right next to the kitchen and the common room... As for the showers, I advise you to go there with flip-flops, so the place is in bad condition. And the kitchen is a real chaos: no organization or cleanliness, it’s a real mess.

****Bedbugs**** I stayed at Parla Hostel from May 27th until May 31st where I had the utmost pleasure to find a bedbug on my pillowcase. I had a bite two days before but I was not 100% it was from that. What frustrates me is that they refused to reimburse my previous nights and only gave me compensation for the nights that got canceled, without even any compensation for all the laundry I now have to do… that’s a very unfair treatment. I was left with two choices: leave the hostel or stay in the same bed because they couldn’t change me rooms. I had to leave the hostel on a Friday night and find a new place to stay at 8pm in the middle of Buenos Aires with all my stuff in plastic bags. Other than that, the hostel is alright but the showers aren’t always hot and the water pressure sucks. It’s as clean as a hostel can be but nothing crazy either. The staff is nice, the problem comes from management. The terrasse is cool and there are activities almost every night. Beware also that if you pay in pesos they use the western union blue rate, meaning that your night ends up costing the ridiculous price of 14 000 pesos, although it’s not worth that price. So it’s better to pay in USD or euros.

I booked two nights and left after one. They had bed bugs in the room next to mine. The whole building smells like mold. It was really disgusting. The bathroom is so tiny and was so dirty. Everywhere was mold. I didn’t want to touch the curtain when I went for a shower.

The best hostel i have stayed so far! Perfect location Beautiful architecture Nice rooms with balcony and privet toilet/shower Comfortable beds Super clean Big kitchen But the best where the personal and hosts They helped me with any wish or issue i had with warmth and patience. 10 out of 10 ! (No bedbugs)

(Bed bugs problem) 🧐 I booked this place in advance and the second day of my arrival they called me and tells me that my room had bed bugs and the hostel was full so there’s wasn’t a place for me and the others in my same dorm at the hostel 😏 and they give me the money back. Left without any place where to stay on a busy weekend in buenos aires full of events !!! but hostel vibes and location is good if you still going to choose this hostel.. and most important the staff is very helpful and always ready to help no matter what 😍

Alors très sale, que je suis arrivée j’étais dans une chambre de 4. Mais la salle de bain très sale, surtout la douche. Ensuite j’ai trouvé une PUNAISE DE LIT ???? heureusement l’établissement m’a changé de chambre mais malheureusement une chambre moins bien, ils m’ont donc remboursé d’une partie. Mais il y a eu une fuite dans le plafond donc des flaques d’eaux et beaucoup beaucoup d’humidité. Même la salle de bain des communs est degeulasse

Se a minha estadia lá tivesse sido ruim, eu estaria no lucro. Foi PÉSSIMA! Já avaliei no booking, mas aparentemente não fica visível para todos, e para ficar de aviso, deixo aqui registrado o que passei: •minha reserva era do dia 26/1/22 a 28/11/22; •fui bem recebida por duas meninas, que foram bem gentis e uma delas me apresentou tudo e me deu algumas informações sobre o cambio e tals, não me lembro o nome, mas a outra era Evelyn; •Eles querem que pague em dolar, a preferência, oq sai bem mais rentável pra eles, e caso pague em peso, tem um acréscimo de 75%. Paguei 30 dolares no total, bem caro pra qualidade do ambiente e para quarto compartilhado; •O quarto era muito sujo, lençóis rasgados e é totalmente fechado. Fiquei no quarto 307 - no 3 andar. Era muito quente, e o “menos pior” é que tinha um ventilador de chão potente. (Fiquei em quarto compartilhado, para 4 pessoas); • Não tinha água quente, não sei se é sempre assim, acredito que não, mas estranhei. Eram em todos os chuveiros. Estava mto calor, então não me importei. O banheiro até que era limpo; •Se você, assim como eu, tem alergia a insentos, se prepare pra ficar todo empelotado. Eu fui picada a noite toda, por percevejos, abandonei até o lençol que eu tinha levado, pq ficou todo manchado de sangue (fora que esses bichos se proliferam); •Fui reclamar para a recepcionista (Evelyn), no outro dia, quando voltei da rua, pq passei a noite virada, não consegui dormir depois que vi os bichos, e me coçando, e ela foi super rude e sem empatia, e disse q eu tinha sido a primeira, kkk. Ahan… •Pedi o dinheiro de volta, e só me devolveram o de uma pernoite, e em pesos, sendo que paguei em dolar. Um baita de um prejuízo. Fora os gastos com o remédio e tals… •A única coisa boa dessa espelunca, caso você não tenha alergia. É que é próximo de tudo, consegui ir em vários lugares andando. E o wifi pega bem. De resto, boa sorte. Vai precisar 🌝
