On compare le nombre de mots de chaque avis 5★ à la distribution globale. Les auberges où un nombre anormalement élevé d'avis au top de la note sont suspicieusement courts — bien en dessous de la longueur typique — commencent à ressembler à du staff (ou à un service de boost de fiche) qui gonfle le score avec des compliments jetables.
Le détecteur repère les avis à la fois au top de la note et en dessous d'un seuil de longueur, puis estime combien ne devraient statistiquement pas exister. Pour cette auberge, on a scanné 337 avis au top de la note et 1% étaient suspicieusement courts.

money but also go to all efforts to prevent me being able to leave my review
Really anwful experience. The hotel are greedy enough to take money and then prevent you from leaving a review, I cancelled my booking 5 days in advance. It was soon after the cancellation deadline so I appreciate I may have lost my fee. At the time I explained I’d been very stressed because my dad had been admitted to hospital (and had almost died). I was able to prove the hospital admission and his condition with paperwork. Not only did they refuse to listen but they do so with such a lack of compassion or empathy. They proved themselves to be very unkind people who j would never do bike as with. I only cancelled for an emergency (in advance of my stay) yet not only would they happily take my money but also go to all efforts to prevent me being able to leave my review. Very nasty people. I travel regularly (1/2 a month) and have never experienced this. First they ignore you, then they are unkind, then they take your money. You allowed me to pay, took my money and didn’t let me even pass on my booking to a friend by cancelling before my arrival. Unkind thieves will go to all efforts to show only positive reviews.
