Bed bugs! All of us ended up covered in bites.😞 . Considering throwing out all clothes not to spread it.

Like others, I have bed bug bites. So disgusting, avoid this place. The woman on reception didn’t seem surprised. Other reviews stating the same are from months ago. They know, they just don’t care.

A ver si hago la lista de lo mas importante de este hostel horroroso: -Chinches en la cama. -Dos días sin agua caliente. Que el personal me diga que como abajo se duchan el agua caliente no llega arriba cuando hace 2 días que no hay. - La MUGRE. Todo es suciedad. Pongo una foto de la lámpara de la pieza. No vio un trapo en 10 años fácil. -Pagué por desayuno y no dan hasta las 8.... una mala broma todo. Tengo fotos de las picaduras de chinche por si me quieren demandar del hostel por la nota mas baja. Cero no existe, si no....

La salle de bain manque d'intimité, et mes collègues de chambre auraient vu des punaises de lit (je n'ai pas eu de soucis pour ma part)

The hostel had bed bugs in some of the rooms (in mine as well) and I found out from another traveller staying there. After asking about it it was no problem to move to a room that was exterminated that morning but washing clothes or getting a refund (someone else tried that) wasn’t possible. The woman at reception was nice and tried to help but her boss didn’t want her to do anything to really resolve the problem. Apparently they had had problems with bed bugs all week but we were not informed before moving in. I know that it is not the hostel’s fault that they have bed bugs but the reaction to it was really bad so I wouldn’t recommend staying here until they have exterminated every room including the upstairs area (a lot of sofas and carpets).

We arrived at the hostel at 4 am. I've reviewed opinions about the place a few hours before and found some saying poeple were bitten by bed bugs there. I asked the staff about that and was informed there was a fumification and thorough cleaning done last week in our room and it was safe. When we arrived we spent 4 hours here in total and paid for 3 nights in cash in advance as the receptionist said their card terminal was out of order. We were then requested to change a room because of some vague men/women rooms policy. After changing a room it occured our roommate was bitten by bed bugs the same night we arrived, and that was the real reason for a change (altough the receptionist did not reveal this to us). There came a sanitazation guy and placed a placard of sanitazation on the room we slept in. We were told the problem was with the girl, our room mate, who must have had bed bugs. Why then would they decide to put us in another room together again:D? We were shown piles of fumification documentation what confirms there is a huge problem with bed bugs. We said we would pay for the first night and wanted the refund for two others as we didn't want to stay there. The receptionist claimed the boss refused to refund and we were again offered another room. We checked it and we also found bed bugs there. The hostel fools people. Appearantly they've had a problem with bed bugs for a long time and their solution is moving people from one infested room to another and lying abour the reason of such actions. They're forcing their guests to pay in cash and when you realize what happens there, you can't get the money back, as in our case. Stay away from the place if you respect your health and money.

Nice location, good view on the rooftop, and not bad breakfast. However, they don’t do the cleaning. After the last guest left, they just got rid of the sheets and let the new guests live in. Bed bugs issues are so serious there!

Me dieron una habitación pequeña de seis personas, lleno de gente... Me picaron las chinches, tengo ronchas. Mientras estuve nunca vi a nadie limpiar los baños. Noche recepción después de la 22, no tienes a quien acudir por la noche .

No bed bugs for me. I stayed in the 10 man room downstairs and it was fine. I found the hostel to be clean and the staff friendly.

BEDBUGS – do not book this hotel. We stayed in a private room upstairs and were meant to stay for four nights, but we left after two due to bedbug bites. When we reported this at reception, the reaction felt very casual and they did not seem surprised. They mentioned sending someone to disinfect the room, but it did not feel like the issue was taken seriously. Afterward, I noticed other reviews from only a few days ago but also even months ago, all reporting the same problem. The mattresses, pillows, and duvets are old and appear not to have been replaced in a long time. It’s a shame, because apart from this, the hostel could have been a nice place to stay.

There appear to be serious bed bug issues at this hostel. I was bitten multiple times and later found a bed bug in my bed at night. I informed the staff and was moved to another room, but the original room was not taken out of service and other guests were not relocated or warned. No visible measures were taken to address the infestation. If you are concerned about bed bugs and protecting your luggage, I would recommend being very cautious or choosing another place to stay. And be aware that you can only pay in cash as their card machine is not working apparently.

Este hospedaje tiene chinches. Me picaron por todo el cuerpo. He visto mas comentarios de hace meses, así que deben de estar al corriente de ello y no hacen nada al respecto.

Leider ist die Sauberkeit nicht so wahnsinnig gut, zum Ende hin gab es Probleme mit Bettwanzen oder ähnlichem. Leider wird auch nicht viel dagegen gemacht. Aktuell würde ich von einem Besuch abraten, auch wenn das Hostel soweit in Ordnung ist.

Lisez les avis avant de réserver ! Il semble récurrent qu'ils aient des problèmes de punaise de lit. C'était le cas lors de mon séjour... Sauf que personne ne m'en a averti et que dès que j'ai quitté ma chambre ils ont prétexté qu'un groupe arrivait pour deplacer l'unique autre occupante et ont placé un panneau de désinfection de la chambre après mon départ. Je m'en suis aperçue lorsque je suis revenue chercher mon sac qu'ils ont gentiment gardé avant que je n'aille prendre mon avion. J'ai tenté de rentrer en contact avec la propriétaire sur WhatsApp qui répondait à une autre guest mais pas à moi. Très mauvaise gestion du problème. En tant que backpackers nous allons d'auberge en auberge et nous risquons infecter d'autres lieux. Une nuit de désinfection totale des lieux permettrait de régler le problème. Au lieu de ça ils déplacent les guests et déplacent dont les puces dans chaque chambre... Le seul point positif est la vue superbe et le côté cosy de l'espace commun à l'étage + la cuisine fonctionnelle

L'accueil presque inexistant à mon arrivée. La non flexibilité, et le fait que certains se voient proposer qu'on leur prepare leur petit déjeuner avant 8h pour des départs tôt à des excursions, mais pas d'autres... Pourtant le prix est le même. Idem : je réserve un lit dans une chambre 6 lits et on me place dans une chambre 10 lits en bafouillant sur les explications. Je me rends compte après la première nuit : démangeaisons et boutons = PUNAISES DE LIT OU PUCES. On ne sait pas trop mais les chambres étaient infestées. Au lieu de traiter, il y a eu un jeu de chaises musicales entre les guests qui ont été déplacés de chambre. À mon départ (2 nuits plus tard), lorsque je reviens chercher mon sac je m'aperçois que la chambre dans laquelle j'ai dormi est affublée d'un panneau indiquant une désinfection en cours... Signifiant bien qu'il y avait présence d'indésirables dans la chambre. Je prends contact avec la propriétaire par WhatsApp. Elle a répondu à une des guest mais pas moi lorsque j'ai demandé un remboursement. Vraiment, ne venez pas. Ils ne gèrent pas du tout bien la situation alors qu'elle dure depuis des mois et qu'une fermeture d'une nuit permettrait une désinfection totale des lieux. Si je n'avais pas communiqué avec les autres guests de l'auberge j'aurais cru me faire des idées, mais nous avons été plusieurs dans le même cas. Maintenant nous allons tous quitter les lieux et amener les puces partout... Aucune considération Aussi, il est indiqué qu'il est possible de payer en USD sur Booking : c'est faux ils refusent. + Les douches étaient ultra exiguës et sans intimité : il fallait se déshabiller à l'extérieur avec l'arrivée à tout moment d'une autre guest et le ménage était très sommaire Dommage car le lieu a un vrai potentiel mis à part ça

Punaise de lits, à fuir! Nous avions réservé 4 nuits en dortoir au mois d'octobre 2025 et plusieurs choses n'allaient pas. Les punaises de lit dans les chambres: Au bout de la première nuit, la réceptionniste nous demande de changer de dortoir pour cause de "désinfection annuelle". Nous arrivons donc dans un dortoir identique au premier, avec de la poussière par terre et sous les lits, également dans les casiers. Nous dormons les 3 nuits restantes dans cette chambre. Le jour de notre départ nous commençons à avoir des boutons et des démangeaisons. Nous comprenons donc que nous nous sommes faits piquer par des punaises de lit, certainement dans le premier dortoir qui a été vidé et désinfecté. Nous aurions préféré avoir une explication honnête de la part de l'auberge, pour prendre des précautions directes (lavage de l'entièreté des vêtements et désinfection de notre sac à dos). Étant en voyage, nous changeons très régulièrement de logement et nous avons peut être infesté d'autres logements sans le savoir... À voir les commentaires, ce n'est pas la première fois que ça arrive (il y a 5, 7 et 8 mois apparemment, avec la même excuse de "désinfection annuelle"). Salles de bain très peu pratiques et confortables: Pour ce qui est de la salle de bain femmes, les douches ferment avec une porte vitrées floutées et donnent directement sur l'espace lavabos/toilettes sans aucun espace pour se changer avant d'entrer dans le bac de douche. Nous sommes donc obligées de nous déshabiller directement dedans, avec les pieds patogeant dans l'eau: très peu pratique pour garder ses vêtements au sec... Sur les 4 douches, seulement 3 ont une vitre floutée. Bref il ne faut pas être pudique. Une des 4 toilettes fuyait pendant mon séjour, mettant de l'eau partout dans les sanitaires. Petit déjeuner: Correct mais sans grand choix. Pour ce qui est du positifs, les espaces communs sont sympas, la cuisine est équipée et propre.

La habitación triple es muy chica y se entra como si fuese un tetris pero eso no fue lo peor, lo peor fue que estaba lleno de chinches!! Y si estaban en ese dormitorio por todos lados seguramente en el resto de los dormitorios también deben haber. Esos bichos se meten en las telas y en relación al precio hay lugares mejores y mejor ubicados. Deberían fumigar, cambiar los colchones y bajar los precios.

El baño súper incómodo, la atención mala pero lo peor es que tienen chinches me picaron por todo el cuerpo

Lindo hostel, con buenas vistas y espacios comunes de calidad. Lo negativo es que hay una plaga de chinches. Estamos llenos de picaduras…

Lugar muy bonito, con muy buena ubicación, y excelente amabilidad. Sin embargo las camas tenían chinches :( recomiendo tener precaución con esto!

Si leíste que era buena opción quedarte aquí DESCARTALO y lee los comentarios (que fue algo que no hice) El Hostel tiene una plaga de chinches, si leíste bien CHINCHES. Me quedé con unos amigos, ellos llegaron antes y pasaron una noche más que yo. La mañana que debíamos abandonar el hostel nos llamó la atención que subiera una persona a "sanitizar" (si, igual que en la pandemia) a tirar un líquido a las habitaciones. Llegando a nuestro siguiente destino nos percatamos de que nos habíamos llenado de chinches. Estuve a nada de ir a urgencias por las picaduras ya que los bichos me comieron. Decir que fue incómodo no refleja lo mal que lo pasamos. El desayuno y la atención pasa a segundo plano (es igual de mala que las habitaciones) Mención a la señora malhumorada que hechaba a la gente porque ella debía limpiar la cocina y las mesas de la sala compartida.

Bed bugs, showers that were broken and leaked everywhere, lumpy pillows, way too hot most of the time (which probably made the bed bug problem worse), it wasn’t very clean and staff were barely ever around and didn’t reply to messages. The breakfast was good but always served late and put away early. The only good thing was the communal space upstairs.

BEDBUGS. Got bedbugged here. Ended up not paying for the hostel but due to a late check in I’ve never got to speak to the owner? They didn’t answer me on what’s app or offered me a different bed/room, basically left me on read. Really bad handling of the situation.

We had the worst experience in this hostel. When we arrived, the lady at the reception first let us wait for 5 minutes outside, and then 15 minutes inside with our backpacks on our back while she was on the phone. Then, when she finally hang up to help us check-in, she told us we had to go with a taxi for 20 minutes outside the citycenter to go to an ATM to pay our room, as the pin was not working. Wouldn’t have been a problem, but she told us we would have to do so in an hour max., because afterwards she would be gone. I don’t think that is how hospitality works, especially since it was their problem that the pin was not working. But the worst thing comes now, when she brought us to the room, it was the smallest room ever, it was at least 30 degrees in there, the bedsheets were really dirty with stains everywhere, and there were BEDBUGS. We checked out immediately and went somewhere else. AVOID this place at all costs.

Positive: - Nice view from the balcony of the common area - Fast internet - Rooms: Lockers, Windows, Socket by the Bed - Breakfast included Negative: - Bed bugs in the common area, and staff does not seem to care - Service per se: toilet paper was almost always empty plus clogged toilets, and nobody was reachable, 2/4 showers were defect - Linens are provided but you need to put them on the bed yourself; reality is that at least half of the people don't do it, which is unhygienic - I was there for 3 nights and didn't have the feeling the room was cleaned once; the floor was more than dirty, especially under the beds - Pans in the kitchen are more than ready to be renewed Neutral: - outside of the city center

3 and 1/2 stars this hostel was okay and doable for a short time in punta arenas, the room are spacious and have lockers for valuable, and nice outlet near beds. The staff is friendly and easy going. The common area is great and the kitchen is spacious-just missing a few items and isn’t the best equipped but you can make do. It’s a tad far away from town so you do have to walk a bit, I didn’t mind since I love walking, and it’s very close to the water and has a great view from the balcony. The people are good and meet some nice folks. The biggest issues is the cleanliness with the hostel, and why I rate low is because I seen some bed bugs on the couch and felt very uncomfortable sleeping know they were in parts of the hostel. Plus some thing aren’t really stocked. Take what you want from this it’s so so.

We had bed bugs! And really many of them, with blood all over the bed sheets and on the pillow/blankets and on the wall. Really annoying and frustrating! Especially since guests had reported it already two days ago, and the staff had known it already! The hostel should have closed and taken time to sanitize properly. Also, apart from this, our room was not properly cleaned, i.e dirty floor and bathroom (we had a family 3-bed-room), and there was sand and dust everywhere. To be fair, we claimed to get our money back and asked for a compensation, and they willingly agreed and gave us 50 USD compensation. This is only a small compensation for the upcoming consequences (having to get backpacks and contents professionally cleaned, disturbing the remaider of the vacation). We are still really really annoyed and expect the hostel to close until remedial action has been taken!

A situação gravíssima foi que o quarto onde nos hospedamos estava infestado de PERCEVEJOS, o que só percebemos durante a madrugada quando fomos atacados. Era impossível dormir e se apagasse a luz mais PERCEVEJOS voltavam a aparecer e picar a todos. Nao tinha bem como reclamar no momento do ocorrido pois o local não tem recepção 24h. Um absurdo, depois do ocorrido fomos avaliar relatos anteriores onde há reclamações da mesma situação e pelo jeito nenhuma medida de dedetização é desinsetização é tomada. Após reclamarmos fomos alocados em outro quarto para a última noite de hospedagem, mas a insegurança da mesma situação ocorrer novamente tornou a noite péssima. Ao retornarmos para casa tivemos que desinfectar todos nossos pertences, sendo que nesta higienizacão, encontramos PERCEVEJOS que vieram de carona. O local não é seguro. Por não ter recepção 24h, existe uma fechadura eletrônica na entrada do hostel, sendo disponibilizada uma senha de acesso para os hóspedes. Esta senha está colada sobre o balcão da recepção, visível para qualquer um que esteja do lado de fora, pois a porta é de vidro. Também pode ser vista e repassada por qualquer pessoa de ma fé que tenha a senha. Com relação ao café da manhã, havíamos questionado se poderia ser antecipado no dia seguinte, porque tínhamos que sair antes devido a um tour, sendo que a pessoa da recepção disse que estaria disponível, mas não foi cumprido. No entorno aonde fica o hostel não tem recursos (restaurantes, mercado, farmácia).

The hostel is just okay, really nothing special at all. The staff is friendly but non-existent. The location is very far away from the town but has good access to the beach. Nothing is stocked, no paper towels, no toilet paper in some restrooms. The kitchen is poorly stocked. The hostel isn’t that social and most people on their phones except for a few. The biggest issue is the cleanliness, I seen a few bed bugs crawl around. Overall it’s good for the price and doable for a few nights at most.

Bed bugs everywhere! All got absolutely covered in bites. Don’t stay here.

There were bedbugs in the room. Other than that it was a very good stay.

Old and tired hostal, close to the coast but a bit too far away from the city centre. Previous reviews flagged bed bugs but, luckily, we had no issues in our room. Nevertheless the room was dirty, with stains on the bedsheets and couscins clearly not clean. Moreover the room had a very strong smell of bleach. This was with no doubt the worst accommodation of our trip.

Great hostel but please fix the issue with bedbugs!!

Die Lage ist super und vom Gemeinschaftsraum hat man eine tolle Aussicht aufs Meer. Bei Sonneneinstrahlung wird er leider unerträglich heiß. Freundliches Personal und gutes Frühstück, Küche ist gut ausgestattet und sauber. 10 Betten Schlafsaal bietet etwas Platz, 6 Betten Schlafsaal war sehr beengend. Bettwanzen in mehreren Zimmern :/ (Stand Dez 2024) Badezimmer sind nicht der Hammer. Stadtzentrum ist zu Fuß in etwa 20min erreichbar, in der näheren Umgebung gibt es kleine Läden, Bäckerein und Essensmöglichkeiten.

La semaine du 15/12 il y avait des punaises de lits dans une chambre (" Lenga", celle où j'étais et dans mon lit). Très mauvaise gestion de cette situation, autres voyageurs pas prévenus, minimisation du problème, difficulté à me rembourser sans discuter les jours restants ( je suis partie avant bien sûr) , aucune excuse.... Par ailleurs, les.lits superposés sont branlants, c'est assez sonore et pas pensé côté pratique ( ex douche des femmesne = petites, pas de porte manteau,..)
