Estuve tres noche en la habitación single, la verdad al ser una casa antigua, de madera, suena TODO, cruje todo y el día que llegue estaban haciendo arreglos en el entretecho, y cada día que quería dormir hasta tarde, no podía, por qué todos los pasajeros pasan o por un lado de la pieza, o por el otro, y los pasos se escuchan muy fuertes, además de las personas arriba, tirando las canastas negras, y la señora del aseo, que tiraba todo, además que es muy helado. Es un hostal que no podía creer que existe. La atmósfera en este monumento nacional es impresionante. La cocina también. No falta nada.

The owner of this hostel was very nice and suggested things to do. This hostel is very cute, clean and tidy! I really appreicated how the staff were often cleaning up the kitchen adn the bathrooms were always very well kept. I would 100% stay here again!
Very cosy hostel on the edge of Puerto Hostel. Be warned the hostel is split over two buildings on different streets. One was A LOT more social than the other - and I can’t work out how you’d decide this at booking. Kitchen was very clean and functional, very well organised. Very cosy fire lit up most nights (even in late spring). Washing clothes was very affordable and done within 24 hours. Overall, a nice place to hole up for a week - but make sure you choose the right building!
The reception girl in the afternoon, awful, they didn't check your luggage, they don't put a label on it or lock them they just give to antibody. Not so nice though And forget to use shower or wash your teeth, shower is boiling or freezing and doesn't last long to wash hands water is freeeezing
J’ai eu un peu froid la nuit relié à la seule chambre non isolée comme les autres. Mais j’ai été très bien reçu. Mes demandes ont été facilitées. Personnel très aimable et endroit très chaleureux avec cachet.
I had a little cold at night being confined to the only uninsulated room like the others. but I was very well received. my requests were facilitated. very friendly staff and very warm place with seal.
Something to note is that there are two separate hostel buildings, this seems to be the secondary one. The room and bathrooms were clean and comfortable. The common area and kitchen were well taken care of. The staff was friendly and helpful. Short walk up the hill from town. The only downside is that the house is historic, which means the floors make a lot of noise, so you will hear people in the morning who are leaving early or coming in late at night. Overall very good.

Tolles Hostel, nette Leute. Wasser der Duschen dürfte ein bisschen Wärmer sein. Sauber.
Great hostel, nice people, the water in the shower should be a little warmer, cleaner.

Maravilllosa la atención del personal y la facilidad que dan para todo. Un lujo, me quedé el 31/03 y el 08/04, me guardaron la caja de la bici para el avión, me quedé en las instalaciones sin problemas hasta las 16 cuando él llegó el Transfer para el aeropuerto Muy buenas habitaciones también y todo limpio
Un des meilleurs hostel : toute l'équipe est adorable, le niveau de propreté et le soin mis dans l'accueil et l'expérience des guests sont excellents. L'auberge est super bien équipée, les espaces communs sont conviviaux et aménagés avec soin. Je suis restée 3 semaines à MaPatagonia, et j'ai vraiment adoré l'expérience, je recommande vraiment 1000%.
Lovely spot!
Muy lindo lugar, cómodo y con excelente ubicación. Las personas a cargo son muy amables. A pasos de la plaza de Puerto Varas, cercano a comercios y restaurantes, y a pocos pasos del transporte para visitar Frutillar y Puerto Montt. Muy recomendable.

One of the nicest and most comfortable hostels I've stayed at in 6 months of travelling. Its being hosted by a very lovely couple that leave nothing to wish for and make you feel at home quickly. Its a cozy atmosphere in a historic house, with woodstoves and couches around. Theres 2 kitchens, one of them veggie-only, so you never have to wait to be able to cook. Also theres nothing you cant find in the kitchens and all pans and pots are in an almost new state. Also theres a free coffee machine:)
probably the best hostel experience of my life. comfortable rooms, friendly people and staff, and SO clean! a fun community vibe. the kitchen was my favorite. would absolutely recommend.
Extremely clean, comfy beds, great location and friendly staff.
The best hostel in all of Chile. Great location in Puerto Varas, offered free parking with a little confusion about where to go but ended up working out no problem because they are always available to help and communicate. Excellent suggestions for trips and stuff the rooms and facilities are outstanding, staff are amazing and Pierre the owners is super friendly, and totally understands what a hostel is all about.
El mejor Hostal donde se puedan quedar. Las habitaciones siempre muy limpias, realizan aseo y cambio de sabanas bien seguido. Tiene una muy buena ubicación y todo el personal incluido el dueño son muy preocupados y amables. Sin duda el mejor Hostal.
Absolute recommendation! Super helpful staff, PERFECT cleanliness (never have seen this value be held higher in a hostel!), good location to reach all the activities around lake Llanquihue, even Isla de Chiloé is within reach, the hostel has a lot of options for entertainment (TV, Netflix, music, guitar, piano), spaces to chill (fireplace), work and connect with other travellers. I hope this wasn't my last time in MaPatagonia!
Amazing hostel, an absolute gem! Beautiful building, friendly welcome, lovely double room. Excellent common areas with a really well equipped kitchen (spices, oil, salt, tea and coffee etc provided). Huge garden with hammocks. We hear the Osorno tour with the owner is great but sadly it wasn't running during our stay.

Absolument génial ! Le meilleur hostel du Chili ! Atmosphère calme et cozy, décoration adorable, dortoir très confortable avec vrai volet pour être bien dans le noir, escalier très pratique pour monter dans le lit du haut sans problème, bureau, miroir, grand casier … bref vraiment vraiment rien à redire ! Que dire de la propreté, de l’état de la salle de bain et de la cuisine avec des ustensiles en super état, des épices, et le thé et le café gratuit … jeux et livres à dispo...
