Down Town Hostel

Lock for room did not work. Staff forgot to register two extra nights we added and knocked on our door to ask us to check out. Was hit with whole nights charge for 2 hours late checkout rather than a late check-out fee even though most rooms were empty. No communal space to meet other travellers. Had a poor + expensive experience, but other people may like it because the facilities otherwise are generally fine.

was ok, seemed sad, no commual room or kitchen so not really a hostel. the terrace was a restaurant and we had to get something to use it.

Deberían cambiar los colchones de las habitaciones. La verdad son muy incómodos y por lo visto viejos ya que uno se clava los resortes al acostarse

Not very nice. Bathrooms constantly had a bad smell. Very cold and loud at night. Wouldn’t stay again.

This is not a hostel. I booked a 4p dorm, they gave me a regular 2p hotel room that I was supposed to share with a male. In the end they gave us separated rooms.

Good location, staff was very nice. Privates were good size but very very cold at night. Elevator in the building. Rooftop restaurant was nice. Breakfast was basic. Tour company right in the lobby was helpful for booking excursions. However, hostel had zero social atmosphere, so if you’re looking to make friends this isn’t the place. But good option if you want a private room to reset yet still be close to things.

Alles in allem mehr als in Ordnung. Es ist ruhig und das Personal ist sehr nett. Die Dachterasse ist sehr nice. Leider war unser Badezimmer etwas dreckig und die Atmosphäre nicht besonders. Dafür ist es sehr ruhig zum schlafen.

Decent place at a decent price, nothing fancy but comfortable for a night or two. I arrived feeling quite ill and the receptionist brought me up a cup of coca tea and some ibuprofen which was so kind of her - thank you! They also stored my bag for a couple days while I went down to Uyuni which was helpful.

Great staff makes this place much better! Bathrooms were dirty, smelled bad, and had no ventilation. It’s in a perfect location though so it’s worth the price.

This hostel is in a great location with very affordable private rooms with a bigger breakfast than you would get in most places with free breakfast. The staff were extremely nice and laundry was very fair priced. This was perfect to recover after doing Huayna Potosi :)

Good hostel with friendly & helpful staff and clean rooms. The hostel is close to good restaurants, but it is on a busy street, so a lot of horns throughout the day.

De locatie is heel goed! Het is niet zo een sociaal hostel, we hebben niet echt veel mensen gezien, zelf niet bij het ontbijt.

Good location, clean and warm. We booked a double bed room, we were put in a two single bed room. Once I explained this was the wrong room, I was told that was all they had. (Fair enough if a mistake was made) but there was no apology or explanation and he just seemed to be it shouldn’t matter ‘it’s the same price’. Posizione non eccezionale, la zona attorno non è delle migliori. La doccia non era calda ma la stanza si, gentilissimi e terrazza spettacolare.

The hostel is very centrally located and has everything you need in walking distance. Unfortunately to it's location, it's also a bit loud during the night. The breakfast is good and the staff is nice and friendly and tries to help with everything.

Nice staff, great location, felt safe and secure. The coffee at breakfast is the worst I've had in South America. My bathroom smelt of sewage. All of the above is forgiveable, except we stayed there nearly a week and the WiFi in the bedrooms does not work.

I spent 2 weeks there while sick and it was the perfect place. Even the single rooms for one person have two beds, are really big and have a cool view! The staff was adorable and came to check on me, offered to get me to a doctor or get me médecine. It’s definitely not a social hostel but it was perfect for a nice break from socializing! Also loved the location!!

Definitely more of a hotel but the room was very comfortable and the bar/restaurant upstairs was quite convenient as well. Great location with easy access to the historic center and a quick walk to the teleférico station

I stayed there for 12 days while I was sick and it was the perfect place. The bedroom was really big and comfortable, breakfast was perfect and the staff was super helpful and really nice. They came to check on me after not seeing me for 2-3 days, gave me some doctors info and even asked if I wanted them to buy me médecine! So overall a really nice place to stay! I’ve heard that the neighborhood is not that secure from the taxis but I never felt it.

Lovely place. More of a hotel than a hostel but was perfect for me while i was sick and lost my voice. The staff in the restaurant were very helpful and made my stay so much easier. All around a great place. Perfect location next to witches market as well.

If you have enough with a basic hostel it is good. The water was warm and the room clean. There is no social area. But the Rooftop Restaurant is really good - try the special burger! Next door is a tour company what also is a benefit.
