Living in the Box

The host did not send information about the reservation, they did not respond to my messages sent through booking, I had to wait at the gate for a long time before someone answered the phone. Other guests reported the same experience. The room was smelly and incredibly dirty, as if it had not been cleaned at all, although these few square meters would not have been difficult. Neither the towels nor the bed linen were clean, I think they had not been changed since the previous guests. There was bedbug droppings on the wall and the bed. The toilet and bathroom were also dirty, the dirt was stuck to it.

There are way too many bedbugs here. I’ve been bitten and have been extremely itchy for over a week, making it impossible to sleep at night. I reached out for help, but they didn’t respond properly. The service is absolutely terrible.

However, the negatives of the property massively outweigh any value for money. Firstly, there is no indication online of how to actually check in and enter the hotel, and it was only after checking other reviews that we realised you need to go into a nearby bar/restaurant to check in. This also means that there is no front desk after this place closes. We could’ve looked past just this if it weren’t for us finding BEDBUGS in the bed. By this time, it was almost midnight and as two young females, we didn’t feel safe leaving at that time to find somewhere else to stay, especially as the hotel’s location doesn’t feel like the safest area, so I ended up spending a very uncomfortable night in the floor since we were unable to go and tell anyone about the bugs. The next morning we decided to go and get a new hotel, despite paying for another night, and after looking at other reviews it seemed like no staff cared about the issue so we didn’t bother speaking to anybody and just left. I would absolutely recommend that you do not come here!! No front desk, you have to walk through a urine-smelling alleyway to get to the building, toilets aren’t the cleanest, and even if you could look past all that (which we were happy to), there are bedbugs, so although at first we thought we’d found a bargain hotel, we ended up spending much more money on a last-minute hotel booking on top of what I had paid just to sleep on the floor (also ruining one of our days in Berlin due to lack of sleep and stress), than if we’d just have paid a tiny bit more money initially. Again, do not come here!!

The toilets are communal in the basement. The trains were very loud so bring earplugs. It was also very warm and the fan in our room was broken.

La cama TENIA CHINCHES!! no cambiaron las sabanas, tenia olor a sudor y era MUY DESAGRADABLE. No encontre otros hospedajes por la zona para los dias que estuve, porque desde que llegue me quise ir, asi que compre sabanas en Primark para mas o menos pasar las 3 noches, pero la primer noche dormi en el suelo porque no podia dormir en el estado en el que encontre la cama, escribi a los hosts y NUNCA recibi respuesta. The bed HAD BEDBUGS!! They didn't change the sheets, it smelled like sweat, and it was VERY UNPLEASANT. I couldn't find other accommodations in the area for the days I stayed because I wanted to leave as soon as I arrived, so I bought sheets at Primark to somehow get through the 3 nights, but the first night I slept on the floor because I couldn't sleep in the condition I found the bed in. I wrote to the hosts and NEVER received a response.

Living in bedbugs box. Please run around and don’t even look in this place… It’s freaking hard to find how to get inside. And in room everywhere dirty and everywhere bedbugs. They need to change namie “living in the bedbugs box” :))) People it’s nightmare for sure. I putting few pictures that you can see with what you will deal. :))

This place has many bed bugs!! We asked the owner to do something about it, and he just fobbed us off. First of all, it was incredibly hard to reach him, he also did not reply to the booking.com costumer service messages. Then we finally got him on the phone. He cut us off in the middle of the sentence and shortly after just hang up! For his own sake, he should treat guests appropriately and make sure the place is getting rid of this nightmare bed bugs.

Habían chinches de cama que me picaron por todo el cuerpo tengo tantas picaduras ardor y picazón han pasado ya 7 días usando cremas para picaduras que no ha sido suficientemente he tenido que ir al médico a que me inyecten y manden medicamentos más fuertes

The room was full of bed bugs. I only realized after coming back at 3am. I spent 3.5 hours calling booking and trying to contact the accommodation staying outside as staying in the room was a risk. The accommodation staff, when finally picked the phone were terribly rude and just told me to cancel and leave. It was only after 8am (without having slept for the whole night) that booking managed to contact them and they officially cancelled for me free of charge. Still nobody offered relocation for the subsequent days

DON’T GO HERE!!!! IT IS A SCAM!!! The owner is a total scammer. This is a horror house. We booked for five nights and couldn’t stay even for one because there was a bedbug crawling next to my face (I have a picture of it). The rooms had clearly not been cleaned forever, it was SUPER nasty. The sheets had not been changed forever either, they smelled like old man’s sweaty butt. We tried to get our money back immediately the next day because we ran out of there in the middle of the night. But the owner did not give us our money back. She is a scammer. There is no live reception, just someone on the phone who doesn’t understand English. Just takes your money and doesn’t provide anything that promised. Please don’t go here. You will get diseases and on top of that you’ll pay for it.

CHINCHES! ya habia leído comentarios que lo decían...y nos arriesgamos,...pues bien, primer dia tuve picadas, y mi primo también, y encima se los acabó llevando a casa. La habitación que teníamos no tenia ventana exterior, solo una arriba de la puerta que daba al pasillo. Para el chek in te envian unos codigos para acceder a la llave.

Everything was very dirty. The floor was so dirty that shoes were sticking to it. Clumps of dust everywhere, accumulated there for months probably. Worst of all, we found bedbugs, an indication of the lack of cleanliness. The stench and filth in the toilets was unspeakable

Im Bett waren Bettwanzen, hab an ganzen Körper Bisse und muss Medikamente nehmen
