Shortly, the place needs a good renovation and to be taken properly care as it was dirty in most of the areas. The dining area was very smelly as the cat turds were literally under the bench of the dining table. Also, the room had a strong smell. But the worst part is that I have at the moment a cutaneous reaction due to the hygienic conditions of my bed. I believe that the bed sheets were not changed in a while. But the bed was only tidy up for the next person. Only good thing: people are nice.

Dirty sheets and a dirty room. I woke up covered in bites the next day. I would not recommend staying here.

I have stayed in so many hostels over the years this one stands out the most. There was a man who is clearly an alcoholic in my room who I woke up to wetting himself on the floor begging to be carried back into bed. staff shrugged their shoulders when complained about. There was drug usage openly from staff, there was multiple fights and arguments again from staff. The place is disgusting looks like its not been cleaned in a long time. half of the resident's there live there permanently. dont go

it rained through the roof onto two of the bunkbeds, there is no security, my bed had bedbugs, they overbooked the room, the man who owns the place would come into our room very late at night without warning, the common area is just a large table that doubles as the reception desk, the kitchen is disgusting. it was horrible.

The staff was amazing but this was probably the worst hostel I’ve stayed at. This place needs a serious deep clean. The microwave in the kitchen looked like it had never been cleaned and had so much mould. The plug next to my bed didn’t work so I had to charge my phone on the other side of the room. My last night there was a mother and her toddler staying in my room which was really weird. Literally no atmosphere but that could’ve been just when I was there. The only redeeming factors was ...

BED BUGS!!!

The staff were helpful and greeted me with tea and biscuits. I woke up at night to water dripping from the ceiling (it was raining outside). I was given another bed, but due to an old man rotation at the bottom, it moved in such a way that I could not sleep for a minute. I do not recommend this accommodation, you cannot rest or sleep well.

I had a lovely time at Embassie Liverpool! Sadly I only stayed for one night but everything was great. The hostel does have a nice vibe, sadly not that many other travelers though. Everyone was super welcoming and nice and so happy to help out and give recommendations. There's a dog and two cats who are all super sweet. From the hostel you can walk to the train station and the Pier in about half an hour so that's great. Overall I had a great time and I would recommend staying there.

a localização é meio distante dos pontos turisticos mas dá para ir andando. A casa é antiga mas fomos muito bem recepcionados, amamos o pessoal que nós atendeu, sao amáveis, prestativos, simpáticos e queridos. Os banheiros são tranquilos e de pouco uso.

The old building was cool, definitely needs a renovation. Staff were very welcoming to me and bent over backwards to help out. Unfortunately, would not recommend this stay as a solo female traveler I did feel unsafe.

Great guy running the place, but it needs a deep cleaning. The kitchen had an awful smell that made me gag. No way were we storing food or cooking in there. The "free breakfast" is serve yourself toast and cereal.

I arrived back to the property after the first night with my bags I had left on the bed assigned to me thrown on the floor and a man sleeping in it. On top of that I found the restrooms and shower areas lacking, including one bathroom door with the lock broken. Had to find a different place to stay before the end of the trip

Came with a friend of mine and we were helped out and treated very kindly by the wonderful staff. Will definitely return on my next trip to Liverpool, thanks again! Natalie and Lauren

This hostel is in a great location and the staff are helpful but it’s grotty and the shower was cold. It’s a big tired Georgian house in serious need of modernisation. Also the free parking advertised is a dodgy lane round the corner which can’t be booked in advance as it says it can be on the website. I think this place is overpriced for what it is.

I love this place - super welcoming and friendly! Although the building is a bit down-at-heel, all the important areas are clean and well stocked. You can make yourself a cuppa any time of day, and there is plenty of choice for breakfast (cereal, toast, fruit etc). It's my kinda place - eccentric and arty!

L’endroit abonde de moisissures dans les chambres et les salles de bains. Il y a des trous dans le plafond (on voyait le grenier). Les douches sont froides, seulement 1 sur 2 fonctionne. Les portes des chambres et la porte avant ne se verrouillent pas. Il semble que la clientèle régulière n’y viennent que pour se coucher les soirs de beuverie. L’homme qui nous a accueilli semblait toutefois généreux et attentionné. Il nous a fourni tout plein d’informations sur les bons endroits �...

Honestly, the hostel is quite dirty, the door is open 24/7 and there is no lock to get into the rooms, so far pretty odd. Plus, there was a lot of commotion: a girl being kicked out, tears, screaming, drunk people, shady people. I wouldn't recommend it
