Kim Cuong House (King Kong Hostel)

The worst in stayed in in my SEA trip. The working there were Nice and it is central, but beside that, terrible. The bathroom was gross and the room was small and stank. The commun area stank as well and it was dark there and just not welcoming. Overall bad expierence.

Very dirty. Don’t clean between the guests and could not even lock the bathroom door. Smelled very much…

The rooms were mouldy all over the ceiling and had a bad smell. I asked to put the AC on but this request was followed through, the AC unit was also covered in dust so doubt it gets used very often. The social area was also quite grim and staff are off putting. They delete your booking from the app so you can’t leave a bad review. Avoid this hostel.

I don’t usually leave reviews but there was a strong chemical tyre-like smell in the room which got on all of my clothes. Now my clothes stink and i need to wash every one of them…

I do not recommand this hostel. We arrive at 6h AM in the morning, and nobody was there too answer, even if it says 24/24 reception. The rooms are not locked, everybody can get in, even people not from the hostel. ALSO, DO NOT book tours/bus with this hostel! They will charge you more than supposed too, AFTER you did the tour... so we got stuck to pay more in the end. Also, we booked a bus too Mui Né and they asked to pay more for the cab too get to the bus , even if they told us it was include...

Für den Preis kann man sich kaum beschweren, allerdings haben mir ein paar Basics gefehlt: Es gab bis zu meinem 2. Tag dort keine Waschbecken auf meinem Stockwerk (geschweige denn Spiegel oder Seife), Mülltonnen haben überall gefehlt, Tücher auf der Toilette konnte man also entweder nur in die Toilette oder auf den Boden werfen (weiß nicht was schlimmer ist) und es gibt keinen richtigen Rückzugsort, da so gut wie immer Musik läuft.

If you want a social party hostel it’s good. If you want a clean place to chill out it’s poor. our pillows were stained brown and moulding. Laundry facilities not great. Staff were lovely however.

Was alright to be fair, our toilet was broken flush didn’t work i reported it and they fixed it a day later but this should’ve been spotted way earlier if the WC was cleaned? Beds were nice tbf but was nothing special

非常不错，进电梯前，已经有了欢迎仪式！有欢迎黑板，非常棒！非常感谢！ 氛围非常好，员工非常可爱和漂亮！ 喜欢热闹的朋友可以来这里，放假很便宜，有聚会和酒吧！不过我不是喜欢热闹，基本上欧美人！ 对于我个人来说，不好的方面，有点吵，厨房不能用！ 因为感冒的缘故，感觉时冷时热！没有储物柜！

The atmosphere was sooo beautiful! A lot of young people having fun, eating, drinking and laughing together! Everyday there is a family dinner for 80k where you can meet new people and get free happy water. The staff was incredibly nice, Nhat and Ha are so kind and always there to help! Zoe was a really friendly volunteer, so you can also volunteer there, which is cool! I can definitely recommend you going to this hostel, especially because of the cheap prices and awesome people! :)

nice hostel, comfy beds, only thing i didn’t like is the lack of a window in the room making it very stuffy and dark and once you know the code to your dorm you can figure out the code to other dorms.

Fantastic for the price. Very sociable. Friendly staff. I think probably the most sociable hostel I have stayed at so far.

BEST hostle ive EVER stayed at!!! Guys its sooo cheap but so quality 💖✨💕☮️ the rooms and beds are nice as and the volunteers are sooo lovely 🥰 especially Rosa and Hunter❤️ Ive made so many friends here xx soo social but also chill perfect balance! The atmosphere is amazing couldn’t recommend any more to fellow travellers looking for a good time 😇🧚💖☮️

For the area, great value, the hostel has a nice close vibe with lots to offer. Also lots of deals on food and drink. However, had quite a grungy unclean feel. There is also smoking everywhere.

Amazing hostel very social and staff are very nice. You can meet a lot of people at the family dinners the have every night which is a good price for good food

The family dinner was fantastic, and the staff were friendly. However like other reviews here I will say the hostel is a bit dirty, worst of all I got bed bugs and did not realise till we had left. A shame
