   The best thing about this property was Mike, the check in guy, super friendly even though it was 11.30pm when we arrived. No curtains so made some with our scarves and top and tailed together as didn’t feel overly safe. Despite making a curtain around our bed someone came and lifted it up to look at us, didn’t feel safe in this hostel, and it was down a very dark alley and hard to find. Nothing really felt clean.

   Easy to find, nice manager, good English speakers Men in the female dorm area, unsafe, people kept trying to open my door when sleeping. Bad smell throughout stay and could smell previous occupant when I arrived, hairs still present from previous occupant. Very thin walls and cockroaches inside room.

   Het locatie Niet veilig! Er is op geen enkele manier veiligheid in deze hostel. Even by the police its blacklisted. Prostetution durg abuse and robbing. Er verblijven amper toeristen hier. Het zijn eerder immigranten. Een vrouw was onder invloed van drugs en kwam constant binnenvallen, mensen schelden en slaan. Dit werd eerder normaal gezien dan abnormaal. Het was niet de eerste keer zei iedereen. Het management die er niets aan deed (ze worden niet eens uitbetaald). Ze lieten eerder ook illegalen werken en betaalden ze niet uit! Ik kan het niet uitleggen maar ik had een big shock hier! Op geen enkele manier is het veilig! Iedereen kan zomaar binnen en buitenlopen, en mensen chanteren (wat ook echt gebeurd).

   Nothing I booked this hostel online and had already paid in advance, but when I arrived, the staff told me there was “no reservation” under my name. Strangely, every guest who arrived after me was told the same thing. They said “Booking.com is bad, you should use Agoda instead”, and claimed they never received my booking. Clearly not true, since everyone else had the same issue. Then they tried to convince me to cancel my online reservation and pay them directly in cash. They said things like “You’re lucky, we have one empty room just for you” or “You can go somewhere else if you want, I don’t mind”. Basically, they were pushing people into paying again on the spot, knowing it was already late in the day and finding another place would be troublesome. In the end, I paid 330 THB, but honestly at that price I could have chosen a much better hostel. If it had stayed at the original price (150 THB), maybe it would’ve been acceptable, but definitely not worth what I paid. This place feels more like a scam than a real hostel. If you’re okay with paying extra just for the “experience” of being tricked, fine. But if you hate scams, avoid this place. I personally wouldn’t stay here again, though it did give me a funny travel story to tell.

   Location I had previously stayed at this hostel in January and February this year and had a good experience, even leaving a positive review. Unfortunately, this time was completely different. From the moment I arrived, the receptionist (an older woman) was extremely aggressive and unwelcoming. She told me bluntly: “You already paid for tonight, tomorrow you go.” That set the tone for the rest of the stay. The Wi-Fi didn’t work, and there was no key for the small locker in the room — and no option to use a personal lock. Security felt very poor. Worst of all, around midnight, the receptionist entered the dorm room while I was sleeping and started talking loudly on the phone for about 30 minutes. There’s even a sign at the door clearly saying that phone calls are not allowed in the dorms and mention a 2000 baht fine — yet the staff themselves ignored it. I was really disappointed this time and won’t be returning.

    I personnaly did not like it at all. The bathrooms were disgusting, did not look cleaned for at least a month. There was cockroaches. The doors of the room do not lock and the locker was the size of a notebook. On the other hand, it was pretty cheap.
