WOW City Hostel

I wasn't given proper direction. I entered the wrong lift and that side of the hostel door is permanently looked. With absolutely no indication that the other door had to be used. Nightmare for the ones who are traveling late. No contact with anyone after 9pm. Last day I saw another lady struggling to enter. We opened the main gate, followed by the hostel door for her. One more thing your room will be cleant only when you check out. Before that even if you request they don't clean the room.

Staff not being there or on call after 9pm means if u lose your keys you're screwed. Room door wouldn't lock. Need to buy padlock for ur locker. Sensor Lights in toilets don't function well. Shower filled like a pool with blocked drain, floor had no drain so it swamped the whole hostel when I opened the door after rinsing shampoo out and was blamed. No normal tea available only coffee and fruit tea. No plant milk. Hard to find hostel front door without good sign. No entertainment at all. Dingy

Everything was fine except the room was very warm. They had a portable air conditioner in the room, but it was useless.

Reception closes at 9pm so I did self check in (I was emailed door codes). However the email didn’t explain how to open the room doors as there was a code but tricky to work it out. Luckily my dorm room was open, but it remained open… lack of security! Also there was someone in my bed when I arrived late at night. Lockers are too slim for a chunky backpack, and was very noisy at night due to being next to an outside bar. Great location though and bed had curtains.

All very good, comfortable sleeping pods. Not good of you areive after 9pm and need to speak to someone, however the instructions were sound. Would have liked there to have been a laundry, but it wasn’t bad at all. You daren’t go to the toilet in the night without your phone, unless you can remember the code, or else you’re sleeping in reception! Eventually got a fob!

Localizado numa sala de um prédio antigo. Instalações internas com ótimos padrões. O atendente chega depois das 9:00. Fiz o check-in muito antes do horário previsto. Excelente atendimento.

The location was very good, in the heart of the city, all the major attraction are at close proximity. The staff was very kind, the whole place was well taken care of i could only recommend.

Perfect location to get everywhere in the city, metro is a block away. Receptionist explained everything with detail and gave us early check-in. She had so pretty nails and rings 🥰 I shared 6 person dorm that was full of single travellers, everyone was quiet at night and i got good sleep with noice-cancelling headphones. There is a bar down the window so it was noisy from there and windows were open for AC. Overall sleep quality was good with curtain bunkbed. Good amenities, bathroom & sho...

Really and helpful. Great to have a proper kitchen. Really comfy beds.

Brilliant hostel right near where you need to be. Extremely secure and I arrived super late and they were in contact with me to help and assist. Beds were very very comfy. Was worried for location and noise but was quite soundproofed

Location is great, almost in city centre. Airport shuttle's stop is right in front in the hostel. Beds are great with charging point, light and curtains provided. There a locker also but you need your own lock. The reception was great, explained everything well and kept my bag after the checkout also. Bathrooms are shared and clean. Overall, it's a good value for money. Recommended.

i LOVED staying here!! great location, the staff are SO kind and helpful , especially the woman(sorry i didnt get her name!), great facilities and clean. she let me book another night there which was so great. absolutely incredible i will stay here again if i ever revisit! im telling you this is the place you want to stay in budapest!!
