I will preface this by saying I sendt an e-mail where I stated that we might come a bit late as our train arrived late. We still made check in time with a few minutes to spear. When we got there the security guard tried to shoo and wave us away (he didn’t speak English). We told him that we had a booking and where within check in time, but he kept telling us to go away. Eventually he called on a second guard, whom told us the reception wasn’t there and that we had to go somewhere else. We ke...

excellent beds with a curtain and a pleasant shower.... BUT... the whole hostel floor is under renovation, there is no hostel atmosphere at all, let alone a meeting place, no kitchen or balcony, the reception on the ground floor is irritating , since the concierge is needed for everything, under the mattresses and in general the rooms look clean, but the details are cleaned less often. okay for a quiet sleep, but you will still be surprised by the construction site flair.

The location is great, the price is quite reasonable for Taipei, and the man at reception is really friendly and accommodating. These are the main reasons why this place gets a passable rating. The private room is basically the bed and an AC. The shared bathroom has an awkward setup because it’s right next to the reception desk which is super weird. Also there’s just one toilet in there which is unacceptable given the dorms and private room shares it. Likely wouldn’t stay again unless desp...

A hostel located within a high-rise office building that requires quite a walk from the main train station. Good security from the office building and the property itself, though. Lacks facilities and atmosphere, sadly. Owner is a bit cost-conscious, switching off lightings whenever you turned around. Just a so-so experience staying here. You may wish to consider further before deciding.
