Residenza Goldoni

The location is what we like most of our stay. It is 3 mins away to the boat stop and near Rialto bridge. There were also lots of shops and pasticceria nearby. Shops were accessible by foot around 15-20 minutes. The bed is comfortable to sleep. We are pleased that there were no bed bugs based on what I have read on the previous reviews. We were not expecting that the double room would be too small for us to move around. It felt like we are still in London renting an ensuite bedroom that costs a thousand quid. Only one socket and not even near the bed. They don't refill coffee and tea sachets daily. Apparently, it is only meant for a welcome drink. No visible staff/main receptionist. The only time we met them was during our check in on the first day. I do not think the walls were sound proof as we can clearly hear all the tourists and staff talk as they make their way upstairs. I am very particular with cleanliness. So, I would know if someone did clean the bathroom/tub properly. On day 2, I noticed the conditioner marked on the tub was still there which clearly means it was not thoroughly cleaned. However, on the third day - whoever cleaned that day - I am very pleased. You did a job well done!
