Mega View Homestay

PUNAISES DE LIT ! J’avais réservé une chambre privée et dès mon arrivée j’ai vu de nombreuses punaises de lit sur les draps (les punaises sont également présentes dans les dortoirs). Le gérant a été gentil, il m’a remboursé le prix de ma chambre et m’a accordé une compensation financière pour le traitement de mes affaires. L’hôtel a un bon potentiel, mais il est urgent de gérer ce problème de punaises de lit qui sont le cauchemar de tout voyageur… je suis désolée de devoir laisser cette critique négative, mais j’aurais aimé, en tant que voyageuse, en être informée avant de réserver cette chambre.

As others have mentioned in their reviews, there were bedbugs in the dorm beds. Bite marks all over my back and neck after our stay. Sure, the bed was cheap and whatever, but that’s no excuse for such a disgusting health hazard? What nerves to tell your guests complaining of bedbugs to “come back and book our private room with moutain view.” What an unconscionable and arrogant attitude

Les dortoirs sont infestés de punaises de lits. Les dortoirs n'ont aucune ventilation, ça sent la poussière et le renfermé, et tout est moite. Mais surtout, il y a des punaises de lits, et c'est un problème récurrent.

BED BUGS! BED BUGS! BED BUGS! The owners knew they had them and still let me sleep in the beds. I had bites all over my body. They also cancelled my booking on Hostelworld so I wouldn’t be able to review! Do not stay here!

Beware! It’s 1:30 AM and I’m leaving because this place has BED BUGS. I have bites on my arms and back. I know what to look for. I felt the bites and searched the bed. After about a minute I found the bed bugs in the dirty blanked they gave me. I came for a private room. They were full. I decided to do one night in the dormitory. The bed they first gave me was covered in women’s hair and the pillow smelled bad. I told them and they switched me to a new bed that was also dirty and covered with hair. Absolutely disgusting 🤮

. The hostel, location and staff are really great but they have a serious bed bug problem in the dorms and they are also damp. Staff are trying their best by spraying the mattresses daily but I don't think that should be the solution and blaming new occupants doesn't help. The dorms should be closed when they know the beds are infected.

Staff were super helpful with anything, I sprained my ankle so the staff carried my backpack up the steep stairs to the road. I found dead bed bugs in the frame of the furniture but the staff were very efficient after I let them know, moved my room and deep cleaned all the dorms airing the mattresses outside, not a hugely social place but location is good and a nice view
