Astor Hyde Park

They do not seem to be enforcing any rules about smoking in and around the hostel, so most of the building smells like cigarette smoke for most of the day. It got so bad in my room that the smoke woke me up in the middle of the night and gave me a sore throat for the following couple of days. They also seem to be negligent on cleaning because the halls and rooms smell of body odor and stale sweat constantly. And the atmosphere was completely dead; everyone just kept to themselves.

Not felt welcome with staff I won’t recommend this place at all such a shit place

The location was fantastic as it was close to Hyde park as well as many shopping centres and tourist attractions. The rooms weren’t overly clean and the staff at times were not helpful. Overall, while the location was ideal the accomodation wasn’t up to the standard of other hostels.

The images on the posting make this hostel look much nicer than it really is. Age restriction is shown on listing, but definitely not followed: I saw multiple men that were 100% over the age of 60. My room itself was dirty, the storage lockers are metal cages (open for anyone to reach into, regardless of a lock!) and I did not feel like my belongings were secure/safe in the room. Next, the bathroom was very dirty, and there was black mold growing in the shower, and shower flooded entire floor.

Todo personas de más de 40 años y con muy mal aspecto. Los cuartos son asquerosos, no ventilan, huelen muy desagradables. El cuarto de baño, olía a pipi en el suelo. Por las escaleras te cruzas a todo tipo de personas muy raras y te sientes indefenso y observado por ser alguien joven y normal. El hostel es viejo. La peor...

Insecure and disrespectful with property. When we got to the room, there were no name tags for us, so we took the 2 free beds. Next day after we go out, someone (presumably the cleaning staff) had thrown our stuff on the floor and someone else was sleeping in our bed. We had to wake the people in the room to make a new bed. Really bad organisation! Also, the floors and toilets were not clean and partially broken. The facility looks like a prison.

Valor muito alto para o conforto que oferece. Por este valor, talvez encontre acomodações muito mais confortáveis em outras localizações. Por estar localizada numa região muito nobre e de alto padrão (pra quem mora), o preço é elevado e não condizente com o que é oferecido.

Super lovely and helpful staff, good bed/mattress, slept great, didn't make use of the common spaces but they looked good!

Excellent hostel all around. The manager, Zach, and all members of staff were incredibly helpful for all city advice. The location is perfect to see plenty of London’s sites.

Good stay at this hostel. I did find the beds to move alot when the other person moved on the top bunk. Average in terms of comfort. Not many shared toilets or showers within the hostel. Kitchen facilities were good. Bags weren't £2.50 to leave like it says in description and was told it's £4.00 per bag.

Amazing atmosphere and absolutely lovely staff . Just love this place .

The best hostel in London! Equiped kitchen to cook, lots of space to sit around and chill. They have a lounge are with a big screen. The rooms are spacious. Toilets always clean. Staff is amazing. Shout out to Amanda! ❤️

When I first arrived, I was warmly greeted by a friendly face called Zach. The place was comfortable and for the price it is unbeatable.

Such a lovely hostel. The staff were super nice, and it was in a great area! I felt like my room had an odd smell to it, but it wasn’t bad by any means

I truly loved my stay here! I was meant to be staying 3 nights and extended my stay. Katie and the team for so helpful and friendly they truly did make this hostel have a very welcoming homely vibe. LOVED IT!
