No working lock on the door, we were told we could stay in the room without a lock or move to a mixed dorm but we had paid for a female only.
ha sido el peor hostal en el que he estado, estaba asqueroso de sucio, las habitaciones eran muy pequeñas para la cantidad de gente que éramos, los baños parecían como si no se hubiesen limpiado en varios días, tenían vómito y marcas de diarrea. Jamás volveré y no lo recomiendo.
It was the worst hostel I've ever been to, it was grossly dirty, the rooms were too small for the number of people we were, the bathrooms looked like they hadn't been cleaned in days, they had vomit and marks of diarrhea.
Non è stato come mi aspettavo: le foto delle stanze e dei servizi igienici che ho visto su internet e su cui ho basato la mia scelta dell’ostello stridono con la realtà dei fatti in loco.
It was not as I expected: the photo of the rooms and toilets that I saw on the internet and on which I based my choice of hostel contradicted the reality of the facts on the spot.
Toilets were stinky and dirty. Steps are too steep to climb. Rooms are very congested. There is no kitchen for people to use. Better to book another hostel.
In den Bädern war über all Schimmel und nicht gereinigt, die Duschköpfe kamen einem entgegen, teilweise im Dunklen geduscht, da das Licht immer wieder ausgegangen ist, unangenehmer Geruch nach Feuchtigkeit, Bettwanze gesichtet, kein kostenloses Frühstück wie in der Beschriebung angegeben, Zimmer waren nicht sauber (z.B. Flecken auf den Bettlacken)
In the bathrooms was über all Mold and not cleaned, the Duschköpfe came to one's meeting, partly in the Dunklen geduscht, as the Light has been turned off again and again, unpleasant Geruch nach Feuchtigkeit, Bettwanze gesichtet, kein kostenloses Frühstück as indicated in the Description, Zimmer waren nicht sauber (z.B. An absolute catastrophe. Photos not accurate! I have never seen this before. It really tainted my stay and I couldn't wait to get out of there. AVOID! - not clean - unlikely to meet fire safety standards (no smoke detectors in the dorm) - no individual lights - no curtains in mixed dorms - overheated - rusty, unusable small lockers - humid shower rooms - the floor of one of the shower rooms is constantly wet - no hooks or shelves in the showers - mouldy shower and bathroom ceiling
BED BUGS - AVOID! Don’t normally review hostels but feel an urge to review this one due to my awful experience. Found 3 bed bugs in my bed and have woken up to bite marks all over my body and itchy skin. Received a full refund but to me does not compensate the numerous bite marks left on my skin. The staff member who greeted me on my arrival was not very welcoming and the guests in my room were very inconsiderate in the room - did not feel safe. Even overheard another guest had items stolen.
Unfortunately, my experience here was really not the best. I booked a mixed dorm but immediately asked to switch to a female dorm as it was really smelly and I didn’t feel safe in there. Therefore, I had to pay another 9£ (though the difference on the app was only one), which was kind of disappointing but for the sake of my safety necessary. The facilities were okay but quite dirty. However, the staff was nice and accommodating.
I have been bite at my face and both of my hand . Hope they going to solve this the bed bugs problem

Solid good hostel. Bunks are 3 layers but comfortable and good bedding, good showers mostly clean. Would appreciate curtains being added to bunks

Buen hostal! relacion calidad precio, con una parada de metro justo al lado, eso hace que sea mas genial.
Good hostel! price ratio, with a metro stop right next door, that makes it even cooler.
Es war Schimmel a den Wänden, die Bäder waren dreckig und auch irgendwann wegen wasserschaden gesperrt. Hinter den Betten war es mega dreckig und man konnte nciht mal das Fenster richtig öffnen. Spinde gingen teilweise nicht richtig zu.
It was mold in the walls, the bathrooms were dirty and even closed at some point due to water damage. behind the beds it was very dirty and you couldn't even open the window properly. the cupboards didn't work properly.
To be avoided if possible … basically a dump. The pub is nice though.
No que diz respeito à limpeza, o hostel deixava bastante a desejar. Assim como o odor sentido nos corredores/wc do hostel que era desconfortável. O facto de não ter um espaço comum, por exemplo cozinha, fazia com que algumas pessoas comessem nos quartos, incomodando quem lá estava. O check-in até à meia noite resulta em barulho até tarde pela entrada de novas pessoas nos quartos constantemente.
As far as cleanliness was concerned, the hostel left a lot to be desired. as did the smell felt in the hallways/toilets of the hostel which was uncomfortable. the fact of not having a common space, for example kitchen, caused some people to eat in our rooms, inconveniencing those there. or check-in until midnight results in late-night noise from new people entering the rooms constantly.

If you are a solo female, book the female dorm. The mixed dorm was crowded, cramped and it smelled so bad that i immediately requested a different room. too many beds and it looked like the older men were actually living there. The female dorm was clean, fresh and spacious. shower and toilet was okay. Have to bring or buy your own lock. storage room was just a room to leave bags in. staff were friendly.

I loved this place, the tube is right next door so super easy to get into the city.
The hostel is very well located, just Next to the Edgware Road Station in the bakerloo like, but that's the only good thing I can say about It. On our arrival, there were no toilets available, as they were all blocked and dirty. The room was small and stinky, and had nothing to do with the pictures. The lockers didn't work at all, they were very small for any travelling bag and they couldn't be locked even with padlocks. The staff wasn't really helpul, other than one of them.

Good location, central and next to Edgware Road tube and lots of bus routes. The dormitory was OK, the beds are comfortable but they are bunks of 3, so there is not much vertical space for each bed. Not so many showers and toilets for so many people, but was fine at it was not that busy. The large lockers in the rooms were good, but the small ones did not lock properly. The price was very good, it is excellent value despite the minor criticisms.
Es un hotel económico para nosotros los mochileros , seguro y limpio la recepción muy agradable me gustó el trato siempre pendientes de sus huéspedes

Me quede solo una noche porque viajaba temprano en la mañana, buena ubicación. La habitación olía a encierro pero con el frío es entendible. La cama estaba limpia y el espacio para guardar equipaje entraban carry on y una mochila
I stayed alone one night because I was traveling early in the morning, good location. the room smelled of locking but with the cold it is understandable. the bed was clean and the luggage storage space included carry on and a backpack
Short on toilet paper. That was the only downside. Rest was good. 👍
Man bekommt, was man für so wenig Geld erwarten kann. Es ist nicht schlecht, kann man machen.

Clean & great location, beds are stacked 3 high meaning you can’t sit up on the bottom 2 bunks which is a bit unforgiving. 2 of the 3 staff I met were nice.
absolutely disgusting, there for the weekend and every toilet was blocked with disgusting diarrhoea had to use toilet in the pub. showers smelt disgusting. in the bunk beds you could not sit up, the person above me had their coat and soaking wet towel hanging over my bed a few times i had to ask them to move. great location but will never stay there again.
