Don’t support this hostel — overheard them being racist and rude to one of the volunteer, terrible how a hostel can treat their staff like that. Besides that the volunteers are amazing! The facilities are not great at all! The fans stop working in the middle of the night and there are power outages too. Overall, wouldn’t recommend or support

The heat was unbearable at night, there ISNT aircon only fans that don’t do anything. Sleeping is incredibly hard and I woke up with red spots all over my body from the beds. Another factor is the mosquitoes. Thankfully we had nets but they don’t provide them, without them you will be bitten. ALOT. The staff were fine, hammocks were comfy and the food is a cheap but delicious meal. I would recommend to eat and drink here but not sleep. I would never stay here again and was not worth the mone...

The water in the en-suite room did not work, so we had to use communal facilities and did not get offered any compensation. The water in the showers/toilet in communal facilities would run out throughout the day meaning you could not shower or go to the bathroom. The room was not clean and there was hair everywhere that did not belong to us, as well as a cockroach in the room.

Hostel was overall the worst that I’ve been to. The pictures and ratings DO NOT reflect the facilities in any way. The beds and bathrooms were extremely dirty. The doors to the dorm are always open to anyone. There is no safety at all. Mosquitoes were everywhere, I couldn’t sleep one bit. It’s probably better to just sleep on the beach or forest than here.

not clean at all. especially not in the bathroom. didn't look like the cleaners had been there for weeks. dirty toilets, floors and showers. the beds were full of ants, and the staff didn't care when you complained about them. still the location was very good considering that there was frequent public transport, it was next to the beach, and only a 15 min walk to the city centre. the staff were nice

I left after one night after being devoured by mosquitoes in a much larger dorm than I had booked. The location was fine if you want isolation on the marsh, but not if you wanted to go into town. The free bus was unreliable. Staff was weird, blaming me for not researching mosquitoes and claiming it was the whole town (other place I stayed was fine) despite not having nets. They wouldn’t refund the days i didn’t stay at the time, only if I went in person on a specific later rainy day.

WE HAD TO LEAVE!! We had 2 nights booked in a 26 dorm (which only had 1 person in it) but after one night had to leave. Hostel is on a marsh so the mosquitos are out of control and there aren’t nets. The hostel feels very dirty, sheets were not clean. Toilet did not flush. We left with a ridiculous amount of bites. Staff didn’t care about our feedback. 40 min walk to the town/ BR$40 one way in taxi so infect is not cheaper. After not sleeping we did manage to see the beautiful sunrise…

The hostel was dirty and the dorm had too many beds. It rained inside, the roof did not hold it. The bathrooms did not flush and were dirty. You had to make your own bed. Walk to the city was long.

The hostel was far from the center and getting an Uber or Taxi wasn’t always possible. There are SO many mosquitos in the rooms, it was not possible to sleep even with long sleeves and mosquito spray on. In our part of the hostel the WiFi didn’t work, there was ratshit on the beds. Checked out earlier than and we actually planned.

Nous avons passé un très bon moment. Les dortoirs sont confortables et les douches aussi. Seuls bémols la cuisine n’est pas bien équipée et on est loin du centre. Mais pour toute question Samuel est là !! Il est super :))

Nice hostel for nature lovers. Located on a marsh, the views are beautiful and it is very close to the beach. I didnt find it very social and seemed to be more of a campsite. Kitchen facillities weren't great but usable for smaller meals. Toilets are outside so is difficult to stay dry in the night. Lots of mosquitos but was fine with bug spray

Rigtigt flotte omgivelser, dejlig roligt og fredeligt sted! Lidt langt væk fra den historiske centrum, men hvis man er indstillet på det, er det ikke noget problem. Personalet var søde, det var bare svært at kommunikere med dem, da de ikke kunne engelsk. Morgenmaden var til gengæld ikke pengene værd. Der var blot et lyst brød og margarine, og dårlig kaffe. Der ligger en hyggeligt restaurant (Quiosque Aroeira Paraty) 100 meter Hostel, som helt klart er et besøg værd.

A pessoa da recepção foi bastante antipática com todos nós, parecia que estava nos fazendo um favor de nos hospedar. O ambiente é agradável, mas achei a diária muito cara para o que oferece. Os funcionários do bar são maravilhosos.

Muy tranquilo y relajante, lo único malo es la distancia, casi esta en la punta de la isla, y tuve muchos problemas con conseguir taxis y perdí un tour por no llegar a tiempo, si vas con vehículo propio estaría bien.

Très belle auberge un peu version camping. Le personnel est vraiment adorable toujours la pour aider et conseiller. Énormément de moustique ! Pensez à prévoir du produit. Attention la réception n’est pas ouverte 24h/24 comme indiqué. J’ai passé un très bon séjour il y a une vue splendide. Pour aller au centre historique il y a un bus gratuit qui passe juste à côté de l’auberge.

The staff were lovely but the hostel is not ideal. Tonnes of mosquitos, location miles from the centre, not enough plug sockets etc. I met some cool people and had a good time but wouldn’t come back here.

Le logement est assez loin du centre, il y a un bus qui passe mais les horaires ne sont pas vraiment fixes. Le logement mériterait d’être rafraîchi, mais il est tout de même appaisant.. vu sur l’océan et isolé de tout. Très peu d’interaction avec le personnel.

hospedagem top, quando voltar a Paraty, já sei onde ficar.

O lugar é uma delícia, isolado da cidade, com uma vista linda, ótimo para descansar em meio a natureza! O staff é muito gentil. O café da manhã é simples, mas justo e tinha uma comida deliciosa durante o dia. Os colchões e travesseiros deixam a desejar e a cozinha tem pouco equipamento, mas dá pra se virar bem.

Bellissimo ostello situato ad un paio di km dal centro storico ma in un quartiere ancora più bello, con spiagge, ristoranti e bar. Un bus gratuito collega il quartiere al centro ogni ora altrimenti ci si arriva in mezz’ora a piedi. Atmosfera dell’ostello molto calorosa e simpatica, ogni sera si organizza qualcosa tutti insieme! Sono stata davvero benissimo, consigliato !

O hostel é muito lindo, fica bem no final da praia e de manhã é muito lindo acordar lá. Um lugar grande, cabem carros e barracas de camping a vontade. Porém por conta do lugar não esqueçam de passar muito repelente, todos os mosquitos de Paraty estão lá haha um plus é o café da manhã, simples mas gostoso e a vontade. A localização pra quem não tem carro não sei se é tão simples. A minha crítica aqui é em relação a limpeza, os banheiros precisam ter uma manutenção asap.

Hostel sympa, avec un emplacement vraiment incroyable face à l’océan (malgré tout un peu loin du centre). Cependant, la propreté des lieux et notamment de la cuisine sont à revoir.

The beach front location is nice. But there was no power when I arrived, no way to charge my phone or portable chargers. Far away from the town centre. Kitchen was incredibly messy.
