The "hostel" was empty and very dirty when I arrived.There was no hot water. I do not think the owner can legitimately call it a hostel anymore

Horrible hostel, doesn’t look like an hostel room, the bed was a piece of wood, the room haven’t been clean since the previous guest (sheet also), cold water for the shower, blanket disgusting and full of holes… Avoid this place!

The hostel was incredibly dirty. It had not been cleaned in months. The bed had a train cover on it from 2017 and was in no state to be slept on. Owner was friendly and nice but the rest of the place was empty and felt like it was half finished. Would say it is best to avoid until they can sort the place out.

Himanshu was a great host, extremely helpful and very happy to accommodate your needs. Definitely recommend this hostel to anyone looking to stay in Lucknow.

This is the hostel for you if you want a true home feel. The host, Himachal, is incredibly welcoming and generous. He is so attentive to your needs - cooking delicious breakfasts, bringing you coffee, dropping you off at the station, and karaoke in the evenings. We were so blown away by his generosity. Lovely man. And a great guide if you want one. Please just bear in mind that this is a not the cleanest of places - particularly bathroom. But his kindness and the fun more than makes up for it

Very good value for the money. Old installations, dirty place but the owner Himanshu makes the place. Very good hospitality, he showed other guests and me around the city for very cheap,we had beers together and did a bit of karaoke.

Me and my girlfriend stayed at DS home with our lovely hostel host Himanshu for 3 nights while exploring Lucknow. We had a good time at the hostel, there is a common are to chat in the evenings and Himanshu showed us his singing skills! He would also cook paratha and give us drinks of chai for breakfast free of charge and upgraded us to a room with AC on our last night :). He even gave us a lift to our taxi at 5 in the morning, the most welcoming host. It was the first time we felt relaxed and h...

I great stay if your looking for a comfortable and affordable space with AC and kitchen for use. Tea, coffee and breakfast are available when needed. It is a short walk to the local corner shop or street food. Close to drop-off and pickup points in lucknow. Really great to meet the host and spend time with him and his knowledge on India

Himanshu le propriétaire des lieux est une personne formidable et extraordinaire, comme sa chienne d'ailleurs !!!, vous pourrez parler sans problème et de presque tout avec lui, c'est assez passionnant !!! J'ai pris le lit le moins cher et malgré cela l'accueil et le(s) service(s) était plus que formidable, vraiment une belle adresse routarde comme on en fait plus assez.... merci encore Himanshu pour ton accueil qui devrait faire exemple à tous les Indiens !!!! Je recommande sans restricti...
