DO NOT STAY HERE!!! we thought this place would be fantastic giving its very high rating. No idea how they got a rating this high. Booked a private and was given a dorm with nobody else in it instead? The kitchen bedroom and bathrooms were all dirty but most of all we were the ONLY people staying here ? No atmosphere what so ever. Was very weird vibes in a far away part of town from the centre and just overall felt uncomfortable. We stayed 1 night out of the 3 we booked and left. Don’t recomme...
The coils in the bed pressed against my back, making it uncomfortable to sleep. There was no hot water, and there weren’t enough showers and toilets. The kitchen equipment was old, and the stove’s flame was weak. The lockers are wooden and old, and the locks were difficult to use. It was kind of them to let us in during breakfast time, but while the Brazilian guests who arrived at the same time received breakfast, we were refused.
I don’t understand the ratings here. This horrible place was the strangest hostel I have ever seen. Dirty Dirty and very dirty in a bad location. I am doubting the ratings in hostelworld.
Mi vuelo se retrasó y llegué cerca de las 23hrs. al hostal, estuve tocando pero nadie abrió. Marqué a los teléfonos de contacto y el encargado me dijo que sólo podían recibirme hasta las 9pm. Así que me dejaron en la calle, sola y tuve que buscar un nuevo lugar para dormir justo antes de la media noche... Entiendo las políticas, pero en dónde queda la atención al cliente o al menos el humanismo...
My flight was delayed and I arrived at about 11pm. at the hostel, I was knocking but no one answered. I dialed the contact phones and the manager said they could only receive me until 9pm. so they left me on the street, alone and I had to look for a new place to sleep just before midnight... I understand the policies, but where is the customer service or at least the humanism...
Salle de bain très sale et pas d'eau chaude une seule fois sur 4 nuits ! Vu la température qu'il fait à San Cristóbal de las Casas les douches froides c'est impossible. Le petit déjeuner compris ce n'est que la moitié d'une banane et 3 bouts de melon avec deux biscottes nature et un café... Ce n'est pas ce qu'on attend quand on paie pour l'option petit déjeuner... Heureusement les hôtes sont adorables
Yeah this place was nasty, there is black mold everywhere, it wasn’t clean in general. Hairs all over my bed, really cold and you could hear the hostel rooms from the private so easy. If you are booking a private I would look elsewherw
A disappointing experience. The rooms are cold, noisy, and there’s not much of a social atmosphere for those looking to meet other travellers. They are doing construction right above the rooms (at least the private rooms) so expect to be woken up at 6 am and loud noises until 6 pm in the evening. While cheap, better value can be found elsewhere.
Staff really lovely and helpful but I am shocked to see few other reviews mentioning the cleanliness By far dirtiest hostel we have stayed in in the whole of Central America. Shower was mouldy and had hair clogging the drain and stuck to all the sides. Sink had hairs around it constantly. Didn’t see the shower/toilet area cleaned once in our 3 night stay. Shame as a nice hostel otherwise with a good outdoor area but would definitely not recommend to the faint hearted
The bed was wet The room was cold The sheets and walls were dirty The bathroom is dirty and has a lot of mold on the walls The kitchen was also dirty. The staff were nice and kind but didn’t give us enough information when we checked in.

Établissement bien situé, propre et calme. Bien équipé, néanmoins je ne prendrais pas en compte le petit déjeuner comme critère car il est quasiment inexistant. Ensemble correct je recommande
Well equipped, however I would not take into account the breakfast as a criterion as it is almost non-existent.

It feels farther from the center than it really is
L'établissement est tout aussi sympa que le personnel qui nous a aidé pour organiser des journées. Un merci spécial à San, française, qui nous a bien conseillé ! Le seul hic est que la 1ère nuit on a eu froid et le lit n'était pas super confort (ressorts). Mais le personnel était très arrangeant.
The hotel is as friendly as the staff who helped us organize the days. a special thanks to San, French, who advised us well ! the only hiccup is that the first night we were cold and the bed was not super comfortable (springs). but the staff was very accommodating.
Calm hostel with a nice atmosphere. There are some privates and some dorms grouped around a cute patio to chill. It got everything you need (bathrooms, kitchen with many amenities ...) and the price is very fair. Dormbeds are a bit old but clean. Really nice staff :)
Lo mejor! Todos deberían parar unos días por aquí...energía amoroso, gente buena, lugar cómodo, perfecto para descansar, 100% recomendado!!!

Super endroit pour se reposer et visiter San Cristobal, on est très facilement dans le centre. Le personnel est sympa et propose des tours. Tout était nickel, nous avons beaucoup apprécié séjourner ici!

Hostal La Casa de Paco Es un hostal muy bonito, excelente buena ubicación, a solo unas cuadras de la plaza principal. Un lugar donde te sientes en casa!! 💕🙏🏼 los administradores son amigables, amables y te apoyan en todo momento si se necesita. 100% recomendado.

Looovely!!! I love the vibes here. Is too cool to have a good time in San Cristobal; just walking around and meeting nice people; this place is cozy and perfect for relaxing after the activities of the day !! The staff is kind and welcoming. Really good 🇲🇽

Excelente lugar para ir a relajarse, es muy amplio y está ubicado a unas cuantas cuadras del centro, cuenta con cocina, y el personal son lo mejor (Areli & Sarain) sin duda volvería.
Excellent place to go relax, it is very spacious and is located a few blocks from the center, has a kitchen, and the staff are the best (Areli & Sarain) would definitely come back.

Everything was excellent, the hostel is very nice like a family, everything is clean and the staff was quite friendly, they helped me with the information I needed to explore the city.
For the price, this has been a really good place to stay. The staff have all been very helpful and someone is always around, facilities are clean and well looked after. And there's breakfast! It has been cold at night, but it is December up in the mountains so that can't be helped. Staff also arranged day trips for a good price, and my ongoing journey to Guatemala. Would stay again!

Super cosy place, big space at the back to do yoga in the morning and kind staff. I forgot my key once and they woke up at 2am to open for me 👏

Han sido unos días muy agradables en el hostel. Es un lugar muy tranquilo y acogedor.
