+ Aire acondicionado en mi cuarto.
- PESIMA ubicación, geográficamente es el punto MAS lejos del pueblo de Iguazú. Está metido en una calle que no es pavimentada, no hay transporte público para llegar directamente. El único bus público cercano llega a 10 minutos a pie del lugar. Tomar un taxi desde el aeropuerto costó 40.000ARS (nov 2025), un taxi hacia el centro del pueblo 15.000ARS. Llegué a la madrugada y no hubo nadie que me reciba, el dueño estaba dormido y no respondía. El taxista lo pudo llamar y de suerte nos respondió y salió. El cuarto tenía un olor a insecticida. Si llueve y quieres caminar al lugar terminas con los pies mojados como mínimo o enlodado los zapatos. No había desayuno disponible aun así quisieras pagarlo, es una cocina comunal que tiene olor a húmedo y a perro (hay varios perros callejeros viviendo en el lugar). El Baño compartido del segundo piso se descompuso y me tocó usar el del primer piso. Sé que es barato este lugar, pero por este precio encuentras muchos mejores lugares en el centro. Este lugar fue el punto más bajo de mi viaje en Argentina.
I felt very unsafe in this hostel. There is no security nor anyone to ask information, no lights in the night, receptionists do not answer the phone and if you happen to have a problem, no one will help! Very unclear instructions on payment as well. Also The cleaning service is horrible. Rooms are dirty, there are animals everywhere. There are dogs who bark and constantly follow you around the hostel, which is creepy. I would NOT recommend it.
While the hostel is surrounded by beautiful nature, the neighborhood in which it is located felt unsafe. Also, the owners tried to charge me by using paypal before I arrived and then tried to charge me using the black market conversion rate as opposed to the ARS price quoted on the website.
The hostel is in a beautiful area where you can pick all different types of fruit and go swimming in some nearby waterfalls. Nice bathroom, bedroom and friendly staff. The main thing that ruined it for us is that the hostel says you can pay by card which is not correct. You can’t pay using a card machine and instead we were forced to pay in dollars by PayPal transfer. This is really bad behaviour and is very misleading. + El dueño es un chico muy majo que trata muy bien a la gente y muy amable. La finca es increíble, muy bonita y agradable.
- Las instalaciones tienen mucho que mejorar.... Los cuartos, las duchas, la cocina.... a todo le falta un toque y una buena limpieza y atención. Si mejorarán estas cosas puede ser un alojamiento ideal. Pero hay que mejorar.
Hostel is located near the river in a quiet and peaceful location, however it is quite far out of town and you will need to get taxis to get anywhere. Staff could have been more attentive

The land around the place is absolutely stunning! Huge garden, private walk to the river where you can swim, 25min walk away from small, free waterfall. A place to relax in nature. Alejandro’s was also very helpful. The kitchen however wasn’t suitable for cooking, it was missing clean pots and the oven wasn’t usable. + El lugar, la selva
- El acceso al lugar no es muy bueno, las calles no están en el mejor estado, pero solo un tramo corto.
+ El terreno del hostal es increíble, sobretodo por su conexión con el río. Es como tener un cachito de selva ahí dentro, lo que te da un vínculo muy especial con el territorio.
- Por supuesto, ese elemento natural tiene como contra-peso la distancia al resto del pueblo. El lugar es perfecto si se tiene coche o se busca tiempo de desconexión, pero con pocos días y transporte limitado, la distancia se siente (por más que haya UBER o camiones). También es cierto que la luz fallaba en la zona, lo que complica a quienes trabajan de forma remota.

Santiago es un excelente anfitrión me recibió con una hospitalidad insuperable. Probamos los manjares de la huerta, guitarreamos y me llevo de excursión a las cataratas explicándome en detalle la flora y fauna que avistábamos. Lo super recomiendo para tener una experiencia completa de iguazú!

+ Staff and other guests were all absolutely lovely, the location is just incredible right alongside the parana river and only a short walk away from some beautiful waterfalls you can safely swim in. Truly an amazing, tranquil place
- This isn't inherently a drawback but the place is set pretty far back from the main town, so public transport is a a no-go and taxis are more expensive as a consequence. For me that was worth being in such a beautiful, quiet spot, and kind of inevitable given that.

I had a great time at Nativa Iguazu! Stayed there for 4 nights, I really enjoyed the location, detached from the centre and immerse in the nature. The staff was also great, very friendy and always keen to help and show you around. They also prepared some deliciuos meals for me. I highly recomend this place!

+ This place is magical. Incredible spot next to the river inside the jungle , but what makes it so special is the people, Santi is an amazing host who believes that everyone should feel part of the family of Nativa. Thank you for the best 3 nights of my trip!
+ Ein schöner Platz in der Natur. Mit Feuerstelle und Zeremonie. Zu Fuß kann man hier in die Umgebung eintauchen, fernab vom Iguazu trubel. Für den Konakt zu Natur und einheimischen Menschen sehr zu empfehlen. Danke 🍀
+ Natíva was absolutely beautiful. A real natural haven. Lovely rooms and the stay was a true delight. Thanks to Ale for being such a wonderful host. I wish I had more time there on this particular trip, but I will be sure to stay again if I am ever back in the area!
