- 오래된 건물이라 곰팡이 냄새와 습한 공기때문에 취소한다하니 불합리한 시비를 걸며 불쾨한 언어와 행동을 보였다. 특히 그집 아들의 신경질적인 태도는 너무 위협적이었다.

- For starters, I was the only guest in a 50 plus room hotel. I actually found other accomodation. This place needs to be a practice structure for the local fire brigade. What a DUMP. Also, there was a boil water emergency in Greymouth that the front desk COMPLETELY FAILED to mention. Thank God I was listening to the news!

+ Its was not what we expected and we had to pay for our rioms and then we didn't stay

+ Wir haben hier eine Nacht gebucht weil die Fotos okay aussahen, haben nach dem einchecken dann sofort ein Hotel gebucht und sind gegangen.

- Odeur de moisissure quand on rentre dans l'hôtel. Chambre laissant à désirer les draps et les oreillers sautaient la sueur. Simple nous avons rendu la clé et sommes parti dormir ailleurs. Je déconseille fortement.

+ I wish places like this didn't exist in New Zealand and men who could throw a woman out on the street at 11 pm didn't run hotels in such a beautiful country. Don't make the mistake of staying in this terrible place. I was so scared and shocked when the owner shouted at me and refused to accommodate me, being racist and drunk. He said he didn't like my voice or my foreign accent. I also heard guests complaining about a bad smell in the rooms. P.S. I never received a refund for that night.

- When I arrived, the owner was not at the front desk and did not answer the phone. When I finally managed to contact him, he sounded very annoyed and rude and asked me if I was “Indian” (by the way, I’m not, but that is irrelevant). I'm an Eastern European traveler on a two week trip to New Zealand, I have a degree in linguistics and I've never had a problem with hotel staff regarding my voice, accent or my country of origin. Guests who overheard this conversation advised me to call the police because the owner refused to accommodate me due to his racist views. I saw owner being rude to other guests as well. It was such a terrible and frightening experience. I got scared by the owner and was forced to leave the hotel late in the evening when it was dark outside. There was no other accommodation available in Greymouth and I was lucky enough to find accommodation 30 minutes away where the owners awaited my safe arrival and made sure I had a bed to sleep in. P.S. I never received a refund for that night.

- Rooms were freeing cold, no staff in site. Sent an email saying we were leaving with no reply. Overall, would not recommend unless a dirt cheap budget with no expectations was your goal.

+ Great big kitchen, walkways super clean. Lovely comfy bed in a clean room. Friendly owners who let us borrow bikes. Definitely recommend!

+ Location was perfect lots of breakfast options but unfortunately it was closed as it was public holiday.

- Everything was great and offered good value for money, but the bedroom was very dusty. As we are sensitive to dust and have allergies, this was an issue. The bedroom only had bath towels; it would have been better if hand towels or face towels were also provided. Additionally, the toilet paper roll was positioned too low to the ground and should have been placed higher.
