I had originally booked 3 nights, but I only stayed 1 night. On the first night, I did not arrive until 1 a.m. After that first night, I changed hostels immediately. To me, the whole place felt more like a basement: shabby windows, hardly any light, and a very gloomy atmosphere. The beds were placed on some kind of anti-bedbug protection, which made me even more uneasy, since I have experienced bedbugs in the past and absolutely did not want to take that risk again. On top of that, the beds were extremely shaky - as soon as one person moved, it was almost unbearable for the other. The beds and mattresses seemed old, heavily worn, and partly dirty. Since you had to make the bed yourself, you could unfortunately see the condition of the mattresses directly. Overall the hostel was in no pleasant condition. I would like to point out that the staff on site were very nice. However, what was very disappointing was the email contact regarding the cancellation: there was absolutely no goodwill and no willingness to accommodate me even in the slightest. I did not even receive a partial refund. Overall, I unfortunately cannot recommend this hostel.

I stayed 1 night and discovered that the place has bed bugs

The rooms were stuffy and very cold. Also, there seems to be an issue with the beds because I think there are bedbugs.

AVOID, DANGEROUS. The reviews are fake, you can see that most of them have the same structure. They invite people to "volunteer" to have a bed in a room full of bed bugs, pee and poop smell. After the "volunteering agreement" a few days later they offer a job contract but they don't pay the hours worked. One of the conditions to work for them is that you have to live inside the hostel, you can't have your own room because these people can't stand adults, they need slaves. The enter the employees room several times a week but they don't care about cleanliness they are obsessed about controlling something. They have other people "working" from an office that nobody knows where is at with rude people text messaging through whatsapp 24 hours a day. The oppressive atmosphere is completed with no windows, a strange tube system hanging on the ceiling and a guy who is looking for the female employees inside the hostel asking them to work for free extra time

Lo primero, fue que al menos dos personas se fueron por que pillaron bed bugs, vi a una chica llena de picaduras. La cocina no permitía cocinar con aceite, lo cual lo hizo difícil, además la cocina es bastante pequeña. Por otro lado, una noche eran las 2AM y personas llegaron de fiesta y como las habitaciones están literalmente al lado de la cocina, se escuchaba a una persona metiendo fuertes boches. La ubicación realmente no es tan céntrica como parece. Y por último, debes tener en cuenta también que los zapatos se dejan en la entrada.

Overall, the stay was fine. The rooms are quite clean; I did find a bedbug on the 2nd night though. The staff was nice and washed my clothes for free. The staff told me that they knew about the bedbugs in the room i was staying. other rooms were closed due to pest control. I got moved in another room (in which there were no complaints about bedbugs yet), which was mixed (I booked a female only room) and had 12 beds instead of 6. The new room didn't have a window, but an air vent (which wasn't working one night). The rooms with a window don't have vents, meaning the air gets really musty during the night. The kitchen was very small but okay. The toilets and showers were cleaned once a day. One of the shower rooms had mold growing on the walls. Very few sinks were available but it was manageable. There definitely wasn't an age limit for guests. Overall I felt quite safe most of the time and the location was very nice and central. I didn't get a refund for having to stay in another room.

Nada más llegar a la habitación, el espacio y las camas denotaban suciedad, falta de higiene y poca ventilación. En nuestra primera mañana encontramos chinches en una de las camas, y a la mañana siguiente en otra de las camas de la habitación. La respuesta que obtuvimos por parte del personal del hostal fue poco profesional con actitudes defensivas al comentarle el problema, no se nos reembolsó ninguna compensación económica ni se nos dio ningún tipo de solución.

Very unpleasant to find bedbugs in my bed. The location is great, but my recommendation is to not make my mistake and pay a little bit extra in a clean place. At least you’ll be able to sleep in peace and you won’t have to spend hours inspecting your stuff for bugs. Not sure if it was because of the other guests, but the kitchen had a weird smell

Seems like 2 is the lowest I can rate this place, but I’d rate it even lower. My bed was infested with bedbugs, I not only lost that night of sleep, going through all my clothes searching for those animals, but I also had to pay extra for a proper hot laundry and spend more time on that. If I knew this was going to happen I’d rather spend the night in the streets.

They had bed bugs.

Opted for the 4-bed dorm which is meant to have privacy curtains on all beds as shown in the photos. There were no curtains. The room door opens just a bit before hitting one of the beds, making getting in an out a challenge. There were bedbugs in many of the rooms. Woke up to find a bedbug crawling on my sheets. Reported this to the staff and they didn’t seem to think it was an urgent matter.

i found a dead bed bug in my room nr 10. after calling the reception everything was sorted out and we were given a new room with new bed. that one was clean and all. I think it was just a one type of thing, because literally 3 days ago someone typed the same review about room 10, so I think it must have been it. everything else was very clean!!!! I hope that they cleaned the room and taking into consideration that I found a dead one - I hope they disinfected the whole place after the first review. I dont know if I would go back, because it’s just in my mind, but bear in mind that even a 5 star hotel could have the bed bugs!!!! the whole situation was handed properly by the staff

- De kamers hadden geen ramen die openkonden en daardoor kon het best stinken. Daarbij was het door het aanwezige kleine gesloten raam ook nog licht in de kamer. - In mijn kamer had er iemand bed bugs, maar de andere bedden werden niet gereinigd. - De douches hadden geen goede plek om je kleding neer te leggen. - Ik miste een beetje frisse lucht in het hostel, maar misschien had ik daar bij het boeken beter rekening mee moeten houden.

There's a high chance we were bitten by bedbugs.

Last night bed bugs where discovered in the bed and staff did nothing about it and became very hostile and aggressive. Dont go here unless you take the chance of getting bites by bed bugs like my friend got.
