Horrible Experience, Misleading Pictures, Filthy Rooms, and Unsafe for Families I booked a two-night stay at Collection O The Bangkok Airport Link Suite via Trip.com based on the photos online, but the reality was a complete nightmare. Here is what you need to know before booking: Misleading Listing & Unsafe Surroundings: The actual property looks nothing like the photos online. The surrounding neighborhood is entirely unsuitable for families, it is packed with massage parlors and noisy, intoxicated crowds at night. The hotel entrance and lobby felt cramped, unwelcoming, and sketchy. Unacceptable Room Conditions: The room was in abysmal shape: Wall paint was peeling and the outdated furniture was damaged along the edges. The split AC unit was extremely noisy. Stains and marks on the bedsheets. Spiders on the ceiling and active bed bugs on the mattress. Dismissive & Unhelpful Staff: We arrived exhausted around 1:30 AM after traveling from Phuket with our 5-year-old child. When we went down to reception to address the filthy conditions, the staff member spoke no English (we had to use a translator app). Instead of helping us or offering a clean room, he completely washed his hands of the issue, dismissively telling us to contact Trip.com for a refund. My family couldn't even survive a single night here, and we were left stranded in the middle of the night trying to figure out where to go with a young kid. I strongly advise families and travelers to avoid this hotel at all costs.
