Zostel Banikhet (Dalhousie)

I booked this property as I liked the look of the location and the pool. However, despite the good treatment of the staff, I was left slightly disappointed with my stay there. The facilities and atmosphere were lacking. I was the only one staying there, and the pool water was dirty. Power cuts were often, and to add to the discomfort, I was just chilling in my bed when some transgender women burst into the dorm and started asking me for money quite forcefully. It was unsettling and unsafe.

They charged us for the pool and towels. They didn't refund despite having health and safety violations. They had a slippery floor because of a leaking ceiling. They also had dirt on the bed and blanket. The toilets were filthy.
