Lovely staff, has a gym big ++

Je n’ai passé qu’une seule nuit à l’hostel. Les extérieurs sont biens et le staff était accueillant. Le gros bémol est le dortoir. C’était très sale et les lits tremblent énormément dès que quelqu’un circule dans le dortoir, ce qui réveille tout le monde. De plus, il n’y a pas de lampe près du lit et les sanitaires sont au rez-de chaussée donc il faut sortir pour accéder aux toilettes pendant la nuit.

This is a good option for those not wanting to stay in GL central. Beds are comfy, bathrooms are decent and staff were very nice. However, location is tricky - you need to be fairly confident on a scooter to get in and out, and the bunk beds rattle constantly everytime someone is walking around the room.

Loved the atmosphere! It is super social, but no too loud. Free gym is great. Also best WIFI I've had in the Philippines. Dorm is alright, beds are not equipped with sockets or lamps. There could be more restrooms.

A very social hostel, always people around chatting and activities put on by the hostel. It got a bit much for me as there’s very loud music playing most of the day and every night, I would have like some quieter times / a different area to be able to chill. The dorms are right on top of the common area so you can hear everything. I found the dorm very unwelcoming and dark too, beds squashed up like hospital beds. Overall it was ok for a budget hostel and to socialise.

Ilakai is a great place to meet other travellers and socialise before heading out to the town in the evening, they do frequent events and the staff are really kind and helpful. The gym is a really nice addition also!

Best hostel for Siagao. The vibes are social but casual, you can drink or not. Really great people. There’s a gym and the beach is only a short 5 min walk. Has good restaurants right outside. Staff are amazing and helpful. Only issue was the shower barely worked in the 4 bed room but the other showers were great.

Hostel très cool, avec une bonne ambiance et beaucoup d’activités organisées par l’équipe. Possibilité de louer un scooter et d’organiser un transport vers l’aéroport. Fitness. Les dortoirs sont grands, avec possibilité d’avoir un casier. Par contre les lits doubles sont très hauts et fins, et quand une personne bouge ça fait bouger tout le lit. De plus, les douches sont loins des dortoirs et froides. Mais équipements propres. Bar et cuisine à disposition.

Chose this hostel because of the gym which is a very nice to have. Tried both private rooms and they were super loud and we couldn’t sleep with the A/C on because of the noise, shared toilets are far away from the room. Unless you are looking for a very cheap place to stay, I would not recommend this hostel.

One of the best Hostels I stayed in so far. The staff is brilliant, the dorms are great and the activites are so much fun. Perfect balance of being a social hostel but not a party hostel.

Absolutely loved this place. The staff are very sweet and helpful. Just go sit down in the common area and start chatting with people. Perfect place if you want to grab dinner with people and hang out at a bar but also go to sleep early for surfing the next day. Perfect vibe.

The gym is the only perk in all honesty. The dorm room is huge with curtains around each bunk bed, it felt like a hospital room and your bed rocked everytime someone walked on the floorboards. Social host is good and arranges activities, but the dorm room was not for me

Perfect hostel for if you want to chill or if you want to socialise and party a bit. Great communal area, good facilities including a well set up gym. Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are good and in a good location in General Luna near cloud9

Really nice and chill hostel ! Has a gym well equipped ! Most important out of all, Jon working as the rep in the hostel can make you discover the island like no one else + all the staff is lovely !!!

I had a great stay at Ilakai, the room was comfy and location was great. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They made me feel at home as well as giving me the best advice on what to do in Siargao. Kathia was incredibly welcoming when I arrived and Jon showed me the best areas to go in Siargao and give me a tour of the real Siargao. I did the Siargao loop with Jon and it was one of the best experiences I had on my travels!

this hostel is perfect for travellers who want to experience a family/ community feel from a hostel. the staff are super friendly, and they foster an atmosphere where everyone is friends with everyone. if you’re solo, i think this is one of the best to stay in siargao for social purposes! the kitchen is super well equipped for those who are wishing to stay a long time. i recommend booking the aircon room if you can!

Super Hostel ! Exactement le juste milieu entre social, party mood et calme. Et il y a une gym !

The hostel is nice, location ok if you have a bike but that’s necessary anyway. People are having seggs in the dorms, they should have better policy for that.
