Shocked that this place gets such good reviews. Staff weren't very friendly or helpful. We didn't like the vibe.
A hostel is okay for a short stay. It looked clean and the breakfast was good. But each room has just one socket so it’s insanely difficult to charge your device, especially if you are in a dorm room where you need to fight for your spot to charge. Also there was just one shower opened for the whole floor so you either need to wait until it’s free or walk to the other floors to check if anything there is available.

For one night it's great, affordable and basic, but definitely not my favorite.
For a 'Youth' Hostel, the majority of attendants are much older. The location is annoyingly far from the train station and city center - expect a 15 minute walk uphill and on cobblestones to get to the hostel center, or to leave and get food somewhere. The rooms are very outdates. For a room of 6, there were only four lockers, two outlets, and one working overhead light. Für den Preis hat es sich nicht gelohnt. Es waren super viele komische Menschen da unterwegs und die Lage war dafür auch nicht so gut. Zum Wohlfühlen ist der Ort nicht geeignet. Ich würde nicht nochmal kommen.
It wasn't worth the price. there were a lot of weird people out there and the location wasn't that good either. the place isn't for feeling good. i wouldn't come again.
No es nada acogedor...creo que es uno de los hotels que menos me ha gustado. Muy frío y de "Youth" no tiene Nada...hay más gente mayor que joven. Todos los espacios eran muy fríos y bastante cutres.😅 Los empleados muy bien.
It's not at all cozy...I think it's one of the hotels that I liked the least. very cold and "Youth" has nothing...there are more older people than young. all the spaces were very cold and quite crass.😅 The staff very good.

Très grand hostel, mais mal situé : il faut au moins 15 minutes de marche à partir de la station de bus ou vers le centre ville. Assez propre, mais les lits étaient peu confortables et ma lumière de lit ne fonctionnait pas et il n'y avait qu'une prise par chambre. La cuisine était bien équipée. Les douches avaient une bonne pression mais aucune ventilation : moisissure partout dans la salle. Pour une nuit, ça convient, mais je n'ai pas été impressionnée par les lieux.
Very large hostel, but poorly located: it takes at least 15 minutes walk from the bus station or to the city center. fairly clean, but the beds were uncomfortable and my bed light didn't work and there was only one socket per room. the kitchen was well equipped. the showers had good pressure but no ventilation: moisture all over the room. for one night, that's fine, but I wasn't impressed by the place.
Good kitchen facilities, but odd atmosphere from other people staying there and very uncomfortable bed/sheets that smelled! Very unfortunate as the other hostel I stayed in that’s part of this charity was insane! Location great!

Perfect location for the NC500 route and exploring Inverness, about a 15/20 minute walk into centre. Really easy to find, easy parking and checkin. Clean, tidy rooms and toilets. Only thing was there was no freezer in the kitchen area and we couldn’t find any labels or chalk to label our stuff as instructed but we had no problem leaving it without.
Pretty much perfect! Everything you would need in a hostel. Super nice staff and decent facilities, with a respectable and lively atmosphere.
2 night stay was easy to book. Location 10 min walk to Castle, shops. River walks and train/bus station. Reception staff very helpful. Kitchen, equipment, dining tables were adequate. Booked in female 6 bed dorm which was a bit crowded and only 4 lockers, you need to take your own little padlock. Insufficient shelves and hooks in female showers and toilets on 1st floor-nowhere to put your stuff. Bottom bunk mattress needs replacing. As you can feel the springs and need to do a bit of shuffling.

Very good facilities and accommodation. Very clean and has an excellent kitchen and living area staff very friendly and helpful. Will stay again.

This is an excellent service, in particular the staff, outstanding, alert, proactive, going out of their way to be helpful, a credit.
Auberge de jeunesse très sympa, grande, pratique et agréable. Le personnel est adorable et très serviable. La chambre est sommaire mais correcte. Les matelas ne sont pas de prime jeunesse et les lampes non plus. Mais ça fait le job pour une ou deux nuits. La cuisine collective est très pratique, les espaces salon sont chaleureux. Je recommande cet endroit sans hésiter!
Very nice, large, practical and pleasant youth hostel. The staff is adorable and very helpful. The room is summarised but decent. The mattresses are not prime youth and neither are the lamps. But it does the job for one or two nights. The collective kitchen is very convenient, the living areas are warm. I recommend this place without hesitation!
This place was absolutely phenomenal! I loved how clean this place was. The staff was kind, and kind enough to allow us late check in. Reminded me of a college dorm. I booked the 3 person room. Heating was great. Sheets clean, everything was clean. Went to visit Isle of Skye and hike the Storr loop in Portree. Views around this area are just stunning.
Great place to stay, very hotel-y hostel. Lots of space in the kitchen, lobby and conference rooms.
Nice Youth Hostel, very friendly and helpful stuff, everything was very clean, Big Kitchen, okay Big rooms. Not the Most social, but felt save. Bit away from the City Center (15-20 min) walk. Only annoying thing: there were just two electrical outlets in the room for 6 people. Every bed has it own light, which was quite nice. And not much space to hang thing beside the beds itself.

The staff were awesome, the kitchen was huge and had everything you needed and the private rooms were especially comfortable and nicely sized.
overall very good, the only thing was that only one bed had a working light next to it. also no sockets next to bed.
The Beds were comfortable, bathroom and shower were very clean and the kitchen was great, big and also very clean. And I appreciated the free tea. The staff was very kind and helpful. The location is a bit out of town but it’s still only a 20 minute walk to the center. Overall, i loved this Hostel and would definitely recommend.
Showers here are the best hostel showers I’ve ever used. Would just say the actual bedrooms probably aren’t cleaned properly too often, someone’s contact was still on the little shelf in my bed unit, and the floor was pretty grubby. The rest of the hostel was super clean and kitchen was amazing. Would suggest are more social chill out area cause there aren’t really any that I saw just a dining room and a conference room with couches

Only on two occasions did they steal food from the shared refrigerator and even though there was a security camera.
