Sleepy Station Phuket

I will never forget the way the receptionists treated me on the last day. I stayed here for some time so I know this place fairly well. Watch out for the receptionists. They will lie about things to make your life worse (for me it was the bus back to the old town), they will not help you if you are in a bind (I asked for them to call the hostel in old town to request that my stay gets cancelled there since they lied about when the bus leaves, I missed the bus for the night). Very bad vibes!

this is the worst hostel I have ever been in my life. I had booked 4 nights but I left less than 24 hours after I checked in. there is no ambience and it is definitely not a sociable hostel. the rooms are ridiculously small and the bed is super uncomfortable. the bathroom is something bizarre.

The pictures are very deceiving . The rooms are actually so crammed in with such a small corridor you can barely get down. The bed is honestly the most uncomfortable thing I’ve slept on with the blanket being a towel? The place says it has a bar and social area but this was empty and not open. All the lights were off. The staff were friendly and there is a small kitchen with free coffee. The top bunks do get very very hot due to the nature of the beds but that’s is air con.

Our worst hostel so far. There was no air circulation in the room, and it smelled musty and damp. The bathrooms were not cleaned and smelled like sewage; everything was extremely humid. The showers and toilets are tiny — it’s hard to even sit properly on the toilet. My friend found worms in her shower. The sinks were clogged. The bed lights stopped working. The person at the front desk is constantly away, so we always had to wait for them. Don’t recommend…

Horrible place do not stay here unless you don’t care that the torlit all have blown out shit except for one they are all covered in human poop. They do not clean their bathrooms. Bad covered toilets Only one working torlit Host is never there for check in or out They lie They say they have laundry detergent but will tell you they’re sold out just because lazy

Atmosphère globalement désagréable. Sécurité assez faible. Les chambres sont à la portée de tous (pas de porte d’entrée dans l’hostel, réception qui ferme en début de soirée, portes de chambres qui ne se referment pas en les claquant et ainsi systématiquement laissées entre ouverte, etc.)

very quiet. people are living inside the hostel and washing there clothes in the sink. its quite a walk to the beach and looks nothing like the photos

Officially the worst hostel I’ve ever stayed at. Asked for a refund from staff but they would not provide it so I ended up staying against my better judgement. Room was dirty and the walls were stained. Felt dirty leaving the hostel.

Aber ein paar Dinge gingen gar nicht: Die Entfernung zum Strand war länger als angegeben (läuft man halt ewig), die Klimaanlage hat irgendwann angefangen, Wasser und Eis auszuspucken (sehr erfrischend … nicht), und das Türschloss war komplett hinüber. Bin eines Morgens aufgewacht und hab gemerkt, dass die Tür die ganze Nacht offen war – nicht gerade das beste Gefühl. Trotzdem waren die Vibes gut, und die Leute waren ...

the area was my main issue but thats because we chose poorly based on what we wanted to do. the room smelled very bad (i think was a person) but no ventilation so was not very pleasant. the beds are 3 walls and a curtain so it got VERY hot at night despite the aircon and a fan being on. nice enough though, lovely staff!

Overall was a good place to stay for the money, the bathrooms did smell abit and all the doors didn’t shut easily so people were slamming doors all night which was a little annoying. I had to message the get the receptionist to come to the hostel as she was at another one.

Nice location walking distance to Kata Beach (15 minute). Free breakfast was great and 7/11 was a 2 minute walk. Staff extremely helpful when the ATM ate my money. Private rooms are spacious and bed is comfy. Not much of a common area which is not great for socializing.

Hostel was okay. Not very social and dorms were not very clean but beds were okay. Good for a few nights!

Good location for the Kata / Karon beach section of phuket. The staff are super helpful - I left my bag here while I went on a scuba liveaboard trip and they looked after it for me. Beds are comfy, lockers and rooms lock so all felt very secure. Not much atmosphere or anything social going on but that wasn’t what I needed at the time so I didn’t mind!

The main door can be easily opened and I’m not sure if there is a security guard during the night. Overall, the area is super chill and I’ve never had the feeling of insecurity. Everything was clean. The mattress is super super hard, but not that bad for me

Close walk to the beach, but enough set back that it's away from the busy main road. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. We had the private room, reasonably clean, comfy bed and decent en suites. Only complaint would be shower door doesn't completely work at keeping the water in but all in all a good experience here.

Great hostel for our first nights in Thailand. Clean rooms and a short walk from the beach.

Shower was slightly broken but they were very upfront on arrival about the issue and apologised. Room very clean and great AC. Building work in the morning made it quite loud and the blind was not blackout. Front desk team were very helpful and kind! A good location to be away from hustle and bustle but still all walkable.

Fine hostel, but nothing special. Bedrooms were clean, but bathrooms and toilets not very clean. People were not social. A lot of people working on their laptops or with headphones. Eventually found nice people to hang out it with through the hostelword chats (which turned out to stay in sleepy hostel as well). So you have to put a bit effort in it. Would not recommend as a start of your travels.

Comfy beds, very dark at night for sleeping which was good. We had a dorm room with en-suite, which was shared by two rooms and smelt quite damp. Location is close to all amenities, very polite and friendly staff
