Urban Den Hostel

I never get to stay here. Their system is not synchronised with website so please don't land there solely on the basis of your booking on this platform. They are full!! And they will not even call you on their own after receiving the booking to inform that they are not available. I happened to call them to confirm and that's when they said they are full. However, they were nice to instantly gpay me my booking amount. But I still struggled to find last minute place to stay because of this.

Beware of false advertising! I booked a private room at the hostel. As I arrived, the main entrance was closed. After a couple of minutes of knocking an American guy opened up and informed me that he booked the entire hostel for himself. I called up the manager who led me to a completely different location, which turned out to be a home stay that the managers sister was running. The guy insisted that I would pay full price even though this definitely wasn't what I booked.

We initially had a hicup with the location, as there are 2 Urban Den’s and the one we were directed to was fully booked. However once getting to the correct Urban Den which is a few minutes walk away we were welcomed by the most lovely people, Umar taking Us into his home as if it were his own. We had a room with bunkbeds and a private balcony, nestled between the mountains, so that was very scenic! We ended up spending 3 nights there as the hospitality was just so genuine! Highly recommend!

Cet hostel est un endroit paisible, à l’écart de la ville de Srinagar ! Umar le gérant est au petit soins pour ses hôtes, petit déjeuner le matin ainsi que de nombreuses attentions ! Il est même venu nous chercher en centre ville après notre restaurant Il n’hésitera pas non plus à répondre à vos questions et vous aider à organiser la suite de votre voyage Je vous le recommande
