FilCan Hostel/Backpackers

Shared bathrooms not cleaned once during my stay. The breakfast paid for not supplied on the first day as the decided 'not to do this anymore'. Begrudgingly thereafter following complaining to the owner.

The location was really good, and the staff were very friendly! I would say this is more of a small family run hotel than hostel, so don’t stay here if you’re looking to be social. Works well for a couple! The room was small, but clean and had AC. There can be quite a lot of noise around the hostel with dogs and music, but it was quiet at night. We were happy with our stay here!

After a bad stay at another hostel, I booked a private room. The bed was really comfy, and the showers and toilets were clean. The staff were lovely, and even offered to help me get cash as my bank card got stolen on another island. They also arranged my tuk tuk to the El Nido expedition. The only negative, is that the neighbour has a dog that barked a lot, but that’s not on the hostel :)
