This Hostel very bad! The boss of hostel not educated and he want only pay,not tell you goodmorining or other The kitchen you can t use ad the dormitory it s very bad and not clean !

Após termos efetuado a reserva 1 hora antes, quando chegámos ao local o empregado despreocupado diz nos que afinal não tem quarto para essa noite só para as próximas. Quando o confrontamos que tínhamos acabado de ligar e que estava tudo ok, a resposta fui não quero saber...

BEWARE of the owner(memo): he tries to scam people out of money with tourist traps. I lost 220 euros trying to book the cappadocia hot air balloon with him. He is a fraud. Don't trust him. He didn't give the money back

I would not stay here again! I stayed in a private and it was dirty and there was mold on the walls. The place is pretty run down. The people who worked there were very kind tho.

I give no star, if I could! The extremely rude manager charges extra if you pay by card, and to escape paying taxes they force you pay in cash. When I disagreed to be charged extra by card and had not enough cash to pay he began mocking. The manager sarcastically asks where I'm from and mocked my nationality. I feel sorry for him to have no respect for others and scam tourists by forcing them the tax which the hostel is supposed to pay!!!

Very disappointed for the price they’ve charged me, I thought it’d a nicer and cleaner and fancier hostel for the price they’ve charged, in addition if you pay VISA they will charge you 10% extra for “processing fee”. Rooms and bathrooms are a bit dirty, I will not come back. It’s a hostel that ran by 3 guys.

I love this hostel. For those people who are traveling with group or like me they're cool with a shared room hostel, this place, the staff, and the service is great. Definitely recommend it if you visit Istanbul

The location is perfect, and the staff are very friendly. I stayed in a dorm, and overall it was a good experience. However, I did find it a bit noisy at times. The sound of doors closing and people talking nearby made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. It might be helpful to have some signs on the walls reminding guests to keep quiet, especially during nighttime.

Amazing people running this place. Rooms were nice and the roof top is great to meet other travelers. There are some activities like dinner with Turkish dishes and pub crawl. A really cool place.

I had a good stay here overall. Good location right in the heart of the Golden Horn, very close to the metro and so many places. I also met lots of cool people, there's a good rooftop social space where people get together and they host the regular family dinner. A couple of the staff were really nice too, especially the younger ones. The hostel itself is clean and well equipped. The bed was comfy and shower decent. It wasn't cheap for a hostel and they are keen to sell you tours, pub crawls, b...

Nice staff, good free food and clean rooms! Recommend it!

I had a great time visiting Istanbul and that's due to the Hostel. The Second Home hostel is very social, great dinner parties and pub crawls, location is very great, the hosts (special props go to Ahmed and Faruk) made my time there unforgetable. Would definitely visit again.

Honestly the best hostel in Istanbul. Clean and great location. The staff were so cool. Shout out to Faruk, Yusuf, Ahmet and Giulia, they genuinely made it feel like a second home. <3
