Lisbon Chillout Hostel

Hi so this is literallyone of the worst hostels i have ever stayed at. i dont know why they have so many good reviews. Our door was literally broken. It took like 20 minutes to get into our rooms every single time. No elevator. First part of stairs are a death trap. Insane noise levels even for a party hostel. Completely run down building. Bathrooms were dirty, only one co-ed shower per floor. No body wash. Front door is kept open- feels unsafe. Laundry costs €15.

No central heating, showers work about 2 seconds at the time + are freezing cold and the atmosphere was creepy and antisocial

Charged me for something that was already broken. Super lame. And the atmosphere was creepy and weird. The room was absolutely freezing. Do not recommend

Decepción ❗. No es posible que al comprar el alojamiento nos hagan pagar una tasa extra demás a la hora de hacer el check-in. También, a la hora de ducharse no es posible que tenga que pulsar un botón cada 10 segundos para que salga poca agua, y lo mismo con el lavabo a la hora de asearse. La habitación compartida x4 estuvo buena, eso si; con respecto a eso no tengo problema.

The hostel was being renovated so there were flies in the shower rooms. The staff were friendly and tried to help with possible locations to visit.

L'auberge se dit en rénovation mais aucuns travaux sont faits et les prix ne sont pas justifiés au vu du bâtiment. Les cartes électroniques marchent une fois sur deux, les casiers pour mettre les sacs étaient cassés et il faut payer pour un casier avec code. Un seul toilette pour femme sur tout l'étage, qui pu et ne ferme pas + gros jour entre les portes. Des mouches à drains et larves partout dans les douches. Cuisine pas fonctionnelle où on se cogne la tête. 15€ pour une machine à...

Hostel is definitely not worth the amount of money paid. Our room had no air-conditioning and was on the top floor which made it impossible to sleep at night. The top floor had only one bathroom to share with 5 rooms which meant we had to wait a long time to take a shower. The showers smelt quite bad. Only positive was the mattress was comfortable. Definitely wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Experiência muito triste. Bem desorganizado. Cobraram uma taxa de 4€ a mais por pessoa por sermos estrangeiros. A toalha de banho foi cobrada 2€. O hostel está num geral sujo e desorganizado. Muito a quem do valor que está sendo cobrado. Eles estão em reforma mas está tudo deteriorado. Ficamos uma cama tripla que não estava fixada na parede e eu realmente achei que iria cair quando subi. Foi horrível. Pior experiência que já tive em um hostel desde que comecei a viajar em 2013.

Absolutely horrific stay. No hot water. Bathrooms were dirty! Especially the showers. No noise control. We didn’t sleep for 4 days straight.

I had a great stay at this hostel, which is warm and very clean. The only downside is that it’s a bit of a climb to get there, so it has to be earned. A special mention to Arthur for his excellent customer service, as well as Alexandra.

Egy csapat fiatal volt a szálláson. Hajnali kettőkor még hangosan mulattak, pedig 23.00 órakor kezdődött a csend zóna. Nehéz volt pihenni. A harmadik emeleti mosdókat ők nagyon rendetlenül használták.

I stayed in the female dorm and whilst it’s ok for a short stay, the door was an issue. The lock for the door was a big problem which lead to multiples peoples keys not working. This meant people coming home after 1am would attempt to open the door and couldn’t get in, but it would just wake everyone up. Also the balcony for the room was above the common area, and people would be up till 1am partying, meaning quality of sleep was poor. Staff should manage this better.

Eu adoro ficar nesse hostel, me sinto em casa, o Arthur que fica na recepção e super atencioso e gentil. Eu super recomendo ❤️

Super auberge de jeunesse qui est parfaite pour un séjour à Lisbonne ! Le personnel est très gentil et accueillant, l'ambiance est chill et tout est très propre !! Je reviendrai avec plaisir 🤗

Great value for money. Ushered into my room rightaway. Alexa from Poland fixed my ride back on her device when I couldn't. Lisbon is a fabulous place and the hostel made my stay memorable.

One of my favorite hostels in Lisbon. The staff and the guests are always really welcoming! Arthur in special is a standout! He is very proactive and helpful, anything you may need, ask him!!

Very clean great friendly staff. The shower water faucet is button based so slightly less convenient and the laundry drying machine was recommended against using by the staff as it does not guarantee timely and complete drying.

El hostel no tiene ascensor y la primera rampa de subida no es segura para manejar maletas. Las duchas no sacan agua con fuerza. Me parece que le vendría dar una renovación al hostel.

it was nice, i read many said the water of the shower is cold but it was actually really warm. getting to the hostel tho is an exercise, u have to go up several stairs. there's an Aldi nearby where u can get groceries as well. overall satisfied with the experience :)

Mon dortoir spacieux, pour 8 lits , personnel disponible et avenant, situé dans un quartier assez haut mais ça ne m'a pas dérangé, bonne adresse .

Hostel is super cosy and warm! So chill and nice! Artur is the best receptionist ever!!! Will come back one day for sure! Obrigadooo!!!

The rooms and place don’t look like in the pictures. Showers have very low water pressure. Rooms very noisy and dirty. A bad experience for me. I would not recommend it. I been to better ones.

Great time! I highly recommend this hostel for anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and well-located place to stay with a warm and helpful atmosphere.

Nice hostel. Not that close to the city centre... The architecture is nice and the garden as well but it was quite loud(even though that is not the hostel's fault) and sometimes not that clean.
