Rectory Farm

Het was een fijn verblijf over het algemeen. De kamers waren mooi, de bedden waren fijn en de douche was goed. Het was vooral de dingen eromheen die ietsje minder waren. Op Hostelworld staat dat je om 15.00 in kan checken. Toen wij aankwamen bleek dat pas om 16.00 te zijn en er was ook echt niemand aanwezig bij de receptie. Wij hadden graag onze bagage achtergelaten zodat we iets konden gaan doen die middag… de plek zelf is ontzettend mooi, het is alleen zonder auto niet zo makkelijk te bereik...

Location itself is fantastic. Check in time is not as advertised, nor is the free parking I was told this would be updated online but no change as yet. There was also an unusual smell when using the shower. I have emailed the venue but received no response. Room and grounds both fantastic otherwise and quite beautiful/well looked after

If you come by bike, the access to the premises via the main entrance requires a pretty dangerous crossing and unpleasant route by Madingley Road from Cambridge centre. On our way out we discovered a much more convenient route using the footpath to the Plough Coton and then the cycling bridge over the M11. I would recommend that to guests who come by bike. On a whole we had a very convenient stay a Rectory Farm at a very reasonable price.

My short Stay at the Rectory Farm was fabulous. The staff was very kind and thoughtful. Room clean and cozy. I had a comfortable time that I really enjoyed. Thank you again for that wonderful experience.

A very good farm hostel. Air is fresh and the surroundings are beautiful.
