Dirty rooms/No Hot Water
Horrible place. It was super dirty, and at times the hot shower was not working. People smoked inside the hostel and in the dining room.
Not sure what these 10 star reviews are about… My room was really run down. Toilet was leaking, sink was leaking, so the floor was always wet. Shower handles broken. The whole place just need a renovation. Staff was nice though
The pictures from the website don‘t match the actual property. It is located in Thamel a busy shopping area, but it is hard to find and the receptionist are hardly understanding English. For the height of the price you don‘t get much…
Trekkers was great, only stayed the one night but staff were super friendly and helpful. Location was ideal could walk to Durbar square.
It's not a hostel, shouldn't be on hostel world. It's just a hotel. Shower didn't really work, hot water didn't come at some times of the day or took like 15 minutes.

Great place to stay! I stayed both in the hostel and hotel, the hostel is on the rooftop, hotel room is very nice. I met many people from / over the world. Definitely coming back after trekking!
I had such a great stay at Trekkers Home! The location is perfect—right in the middle of Thamel, close to everything. The price is quite cheap. Also they have a nice steak house restaurant, the food was amazing! The best part I would say is the rooftop! You can order a beer or any other things from their restaurant and enjoy the view of the city!

very nice and central place to stay. to discover the city.all yypu need is reachable by foot and the stuff always is willing to help you out. it is good for single travellers (likeme) or couples.
I stayed in the dorm at the highest floor so close the rooftop terras where it is nice to relax. Mattrasses are good and beds have individual fan. As I concerns about organising my trip, staff was very heklpfull to help and make necesay phonecalls
Staff were great, food was great, and the room was good for the price. Great stay!

Nice location in Thamel. Not the best cleanest place. Good enough for me my wife would not have stayed here. Dorms are on the 5th or 6th floor, walk up no elevator. Great roof top area next to the dorm..

The hostels great. Rooms are nice and simple. The rooftops really nice and the food is very good. The staff are all lovely, and the owner, Suddip, is extremely helpful and friendly😊

Very good location close to Thamel markets, and staff are very helpful and kind! Nice comfy beds and hot shower. Sudip is the best!
