Bedbugs!!!!

All 6 people in the room got bed bugs on the first night of our stay. The front desk had no protocol to help when we realized at 4 am, a 24hr service is useless if they can’t do anything. They didn’t even have garbage bags for our things because the cleaning service came in at 7am. We got kicked out of a seating area even though we had no where else to go because it was the “breakfast area”, breakfast wasn’t even for a couple hours. We still haven’t received the refund (in the given time delay).

In dem Zimmer war ein komischer Geruch, welcher sogar auf die Kleidung übertragen wurde und erst nach dem Waschen sich entfernt hatte. Im Bad hat es Abfluss gerochen und an einem Morgen gab es morgens kein warmes Wasser. Nach dem Aufenthalt hatte ich Bisse an den Händen und Nacken die Vermutung ist Bettwanzen. Das Hostel hatte auf meine Mitteilungen nur geantwortet, das es nicht sein könne. Da wir in dem Monat nur in dieser Unterkunft übernachtet haben, halte ich zu meinem Verdacht.

Beds was not clean and now inside the bed bugs.i can't sleep over night

**Main issue: bedbugs** I found bedbugs on my bed, and asked to be moved to a different bed. They gave me new bedding, and when I unfolded it I noticed they, too, were infested with bedbugs. I reported that to the reception as this was a serious health hazard for everyone in the room. They were helpful and moved me to another room, but (i) they weren't apologetic (ii) they should move *everyone* out of this room, not just me. To compensate for the inconvenience they let me store my luggage for free upon checkout (normal cost is €3). - Toilets weren't sufficiently cleaned. - Toilet booths not fully enclosed, and the window shows your reflection outside of the booth (so whoever is in the toilet can see you using it). - Shower doors do not completely shut and people outside can see you taking a shower. - Cleaners store the new bedding in the drawers under the bed. This is where most people put their shoes at night. The drawers are not disinfected. I witnessed the cleaning process because I was in the room when they changed the sheets. So you get to sleep on "fresh" bedding which has been stored where people put their dirty shoes. - One soap for everything, no separate shampoo.

Eu reservei um quarto privativo e encontrei bedbugs no segundo dia da minha estadia, quando eu ja havia picadas no corpo. Foi na segunda noite, que encontrei eles (no sofa, na cama e no travasseiro)... ou seja, em tudo. Foi uma experiencia que acabou com minha viagem, eu fui transferida de hotel , eu passei a noite sem dormir devido ao disconforto das picadas no corpo e NA CARA (até nas palpebras dos olhos). E ainda perdi parte da minha viagem para levar as minhas roupas para lavanderia/esperar/trocar de hotel/farmacia... Enfim, por mais que eles tenham sido solicitos e tenham me proposto uma soluçao (um pouco tarde ao meu ver, no dia seguinte), isto afetou negativamente minha viagem e minha experencia em Lisboa como um todo. Ao ler os comentarios, vi que este nao é um problema novo para o local, e isto mostra um problema extremamente serio de higiene. Mesmo face a inumeras reclamacoes, nao vejo que solucoes foram tomadas, ou seja, se você se hospeda neste hostel, você muito possivelmente pode encontrar o mesmo problema. Portanto, para nao ter a dor de cabeça que eu tive, EVITE!

The first night we found bed bugs on our bed in our room. The manager -nice person- arrange for us another room (and breakfast tickets) and I think that one was okay. But after few days (when I was already back home) I found out I was completely bitten by the bed bugs all over my body!! This experience was really traumatic and I don’t think it’s fair that I paid more than 300 euros to experience this. I’m pretty sure that they clean up my first room properly, but it’s something that should never happen to anyone. I hope the manager will read this and hope he’ll reply in some way.

El lugar parecía limpio y cómodo pero nos han salido chinches.

1. The check in time is a hard line, which makes it very difficult for solo travellers with a lot of staff. 2. They charge you extra money for luggage storage on the check out day. 3. Poor cleanness. I was bitten by bed bugs...my goodness... 4. The location is not bad, but not good. It's on the edge of the city centre, and it takes you 15 minutes to get to the real city centre. Compared with other hostel, its location is not very good.

Location not too far from center, bathrooms had an unpleasant sewer smell, very non social, felt like a hotel. Staff was overall nice but one of them charged me more than what i had booked then blamed me for not communicating properly. Worst of all, I found a big bed bug crawling on the bed and the bites started to appear after a few days. Had to throw away many clothes. Better to avoid this place.

J ai été piqué par un insecte probablement une punaise de lit ds mon pied droite je ne l ai remarqué qu après mon départ. J avais pas le temps d y retourné pr réclamer car j avais un bus à prendre

Unfortunately we had a bad experience when we left the room. Indeed, while checking if we did not leave anything behind, we noticed some blood spot on the sheets and saw some bedbugs running around. 2 small ones alive on the sheets, 2 small dead and 1 big one crawling on the wall behind the bed !! :( I did not have the chance to share that with the staff at checkout as we were 10-12 persons checking out for 1 staff member :(

J’ai dû rajouter 45€ pour avoir une chambre toute seule malheureusement en tentant j’ai fini aux urgences piqûres de punaises de lit c’est HONTEUX

There was a very strong stink coming from the bathroom. It was virtually not possible to complete our stay. The property promised us to refund but did not deliver their promise. They are also non responsive to the messages. This was the worst stay experience we had. There was a bug in the bed

Pouca estrutura na micro cozinha ( n vdd um apoio p quem está cansado e não quer ir na rua comer) O banheiro não tem um cheiro bom ( mesmo estando sempre limpo) parece encanamento. Tive picadas de “bed bugs” que relatei na recepção O staff imediatamente anotou as informações.

Fiquei no quarto 502, de uso individual! voltei para o Barsil com uma alergia que foi diagnosticado pelos médicos com Bed Bugs! fiquei com o corpo todo picado! passei essa informação para a equipe do hotel não deram atenção! como as bolhas demoram a aparecer só no Brasil vimos a gravidade! fiquei 4 diárias no Hotel no segundo dia já deu início a pequenas bolhas ( picadas) aparecer! achava que era uma alergia a alimentação! no quarto dia, na volta para Brasil só aumentava! minha namorada não teve nada pois ela não é alérgica! consultei 3 médicos especializados e todos diagnosticaram como picadas proveniente inseto! só depois de 2 dias que diagnosticaram como picada de Bed Bugs! e todos confirmaram que pelo tempo de estadia e evolução foi neste hotel!

Punaises de lit.. ⚠️ piqures pendant toute la nuit. Le personnel a été compréhensif et l'emplacement est super, mais je ne peux pas recommander avant que de sérieuses mesures aient été prises..

The bedbugs in the bed.

We have spent two nights in the hostel. Waking up having sort of mosquito bites on our feet. However, during the last night we discovered that there were bed bugs running under our pillows. When informing the receptionist, he didn’t seem very surprised about it. Won’t be coming back!

Se han encontrado chinches en las habitaciones, además comparten baños muchas adolescentes que están pasando su viaje final, no lo recomiendo en absoluto.

I had problems with bedbugs in two beds. The breakfast buffet is good and plenty.

I could not sleep well because I felt like there were bed bugs. I had to wrap myself in the towel because I felt like the sheets were itchy. Locker was weird, looks like even if you put a lock, it could easily be opened.

Do not stay here !!! There are BED BUGS in the beds and walking up the hallways !!!!

Dos percevejos, da funcionária Ana, e da quantidade de gente bêbada dentro do quarto....mal cheiro, barulho.

No bed bugs, super clean and safe.

Bed bugs! I was bitten several times by them during my stay! That’s horrible! Bathroom was pretty small and poorly ventilated. When someone took a hot shower, the bathroom was foggy and u could barely breathe. There are some people living permanently in the hostel and they made a lot of noise at 5 am. One girl from my room tried to let them be silent but they ignored her.
