The Cottage Langkawi

Have bed bugs, no wastebasket in the room.

We stayed here for two nights till they kicked us out the worst possible way ever. Our first choice was Soluna but it was already full, and we found THE COTTAGE just near with a Trip Advisor sticker on the door so thought it was good. Paid for one night, we woke up with bug bites on our arms and back. The next morning, they knocked in our room at around 10 am to ask us if we want to stay one more night, we said yes. That night, we paid for the room and the receptionist didn't ask us if we want to extend one more night. The next morning no one knocked to ask us if we want to extend our stay. When we went outside at 11:30am, the receptionist was sleeping on the couch so we didn't wake him up to tell him that we want to stay one more night. When we went back at 7Pm, our things were already thrown outside. Thrown like garbage on the lobby floor. our bath soap was spilled on the lobby, our toothbrush was on the lobby floor. Our clothes were stacked there as well. Everything was thrown out like garbage. We have laptops and cameras in there, which they all threw out on the lobby. When we complained to the receptionist (who was sleeping on the floor again), he got mad and banged the bell. He said that we could've WOKE HIM UP TO checkout. This is the most DISRESPECTFUL guesthouse we've ever been to. If you dont want to ruin your stay in Langkawi, don't stay here.. They don't have respect for their guests. They don't understand what private property means and they TOUCH your things without your permission. Disrespectful, Bugged and Rude.
